33 Fulder Tor, 36304, Alsfeld
Been here?
This quiet, paved motorhome area has large pitches and lies about 5 minutes on foot from Alsfeld’s historic old town. Overnight parking is convenient for visiting the town, with Rewe and Action almost next door, but there is no shade and recent reports mention no rubbish containers for 40 spaces. Water costs 10 cents per 10 litres, while some electricity points do not work. Motorway noise varies with the wind, and the showers are far away.

We slept peacefully for one night. There are no rubbish containers for 40 spaces! No shade either. Fine for one night and a quick visit. The showers are very far away.
Very beautiful area surrounded by greenery. Very convenient for reaching the city center with a ten-minute walk. The town of Alsfeld is truly wonderful and worth a stop.
Very nice parking area with large pitches, plus regular parking spaces where smaller motorhomes can also park. The beautiful old town with its half-timbered houses is five minutes away on foot.
Thanks to the town. An exemplary motorhome area with everything you need, plus a varied surrounding area, all at a fair price. It is a pleasure to leave a few euros in the shops or restaurants.
Very nice, quiet place—an indoor and outdoor swimming pool can be reached on foot and is very pleasant. Great historic town. Pizzeria Da Franco is highly recommended. The baker comes to the site at 8:30 a.m. Thank you to the town.
Very clean and well maintained. You feel welcome, not merely tolerated!
We stayed here for one night. We are always pleased when towns provide places like this. The old town is within walking distance. Early the next morning, someone from the municipal enforcement office came and checked the tickets.
Excellent facility within 5 minutes walk of the lovely town. Stayed for 2 nights. Cycled both directions on the (mostly) flat cycle paths adjacent to the site. Not all electric points work. Put 1.50€ in, but socket No.3 wasn't registering the payments, so suggest don't use that socket. All other sockets appeared to be working correctly. Had a very restful night; no noise. Would stay again.
Top spot. Lots of parking available and lots of campers using it. Initially the ticket machine wasn't working, but 2 hours later it was. Flat, paved pitches. Rewe and Action almost next door. Old town about 300m away. Very cute, typical half timbered houses. Lots of cafes, shops and restaurants. Thanks to the town for providing this stellplatz.
Excellent, inexpensive, functional and quiet parking area, very close to the historic center.
It is best to follow the directions on the website, as navigation systems take you on a small detour. The old town and shops are within walking distance. Electricity is very reasonably priced; we used less than 30 cents overnight. Water is significantly cheaper than described—10 cents for 10 liters. Some pitches are large and others are marked as smaller. Please do not block a second pitch with chairs and an awning; that is unfair!
The pitches are quite small, but fine for one night. The parking meter does not work and does not issue a ticket.
A very nice place, thanks to the municipality. We stayed for free while visiting the town. Overnight costs €8; everything is great. Unfortunately, we had to move on.
This is our second time here and we would be happy to come back. Well-functioning parking area with electricity and facilities for black- and grey-water disposal. Coins only. Remember to bring 50-cent coins for electricity.
Oh yes, everything works, but the shower - you'd have to drive, it's too far away, I think it’s mission impossible... Access 24/7 nonstop - that's amazing! No wifi…
Excellent motorhome stop for visiting the town. Easy to reach from the motorway, so also good for a quick overnight stay. Good price, €8 per 24 hours. Unfortunately, only cash payments work, but both notes and coins are accepted. The town is truly worth a visit. Beautiful nature trails right next to the site, suitable for walking the dog or exercising.
Nice, clean place with wide spaces, free chemical-toilet emptying, a large rubbish container and several small ones, picnic tables, and a beautiful town within walking distance. Recommended.
Great for one night.
Poor facilities. There is only one rubbish bin on the site, which was completely full, and no chemical-toilet emptying.
Well-maintained motorhome area on the outskirts of town, a short walk from the beautiful, worthwhile old town. Seating between the parking bays on a grassy area. Thanks to the town! The only thing still recommended would be facilities for rubbish disposal. The small bins were all full.
Very well-designed area for €8. Electricity costs €1 for 2 kWh. Great half-timbered town center a short distance away. Nice restaurants and shops. Everything is very clean.
Functional for one night! 350 meters from the dreamlike old town. Electricity requires 50-cent coins. Good motorhome area.
The site was large and everything worked perfectly. There are tables and benches for sitting outside. Showers at the swimming pool around the corner would have been included. But my highlight was the food at Villa Raab, 600 meters away—living-room atmosphere, five home-brewed beers on tap, excellent cuisine and first-class service. I went there twice!
New machine, works with credit card or phone, completely contactless. What the site offers is simply excellent. Yes, you are parked close together, but it is a motorhome area. If you want more space, you have to go to a campsite.
June 2025. This is a beautiful, clean parking area with all services. The small medieval town is very pretty.
A Laika gathering is taking place on the site from December 5 to 7; a large part of the site is reserved for it.
As of October 29, 2025: only coin payments are possible; the card and banknote machines are broken!
A great place! However, card payments do not work, and in this town of friendly people, very unfriendly municipal enforcement officers reprimand you. Perhaps they are an outsourced service and not part of the otherwise creative and friendly town. Therefore, be sure to bring cash for payment!
We stayed there for one night. Very popular site. Very quiet at night. Prices for the pitch, electricity and disposal are very reasonable. The town invites exploration. Overall, a pleasant stay.
Parking lot very close to wonderfull old city centre. Supermarket 350 m away. 8 euro plus 1 euro for disposal of Black water. Power 0,50 Per kWh. The machine only accepted coins. Bring 50 euro cents coins for Power. Good for one night!
You should arrive early at the motorhome area. The old town is very beautiful and easily reachable on foot. Services are adequate. Good cycling routes. Absolutely fine for a weekend. One row of pitches is very narrow; the rest are fine.
Unfortunately, it is now completely overcrowded. This used to be a nice motorhome area. Nowadays, you are already looking for a gap at 2 p.m. Two stars for the beautiful little town and the low price. If you like having the next motorhome just one meter away, it is still a place to go.
Pleasant motorhome area. Nice small town. We used the site for a stopover.
Great overnight or daytime stopover, we just stayed during the day, 8€ charge for 24 hours (elec & water extra but still reasonable) plenty of spaces & only 10 minute walk to the centre. Machine only took cash (showed cards but didn’t work)
Great place for a stopover. The charming old town is within walking distance. Electricity and grey-water emptying are available. Unfortunately, the toilet emptying facility did not work.
