Riverside area, road noise

Very pleasant, campsite-like area, with hedges separating the pitches. Many pitches are shaded by trees. The only drawback is that the road is quite noisy. Good for one night en route.✦Translating

Great spot directly on the Rhône, ideal for short walks with a dog. A great little bakery and a market are a two-minute walk away. The road is fairly loud during the day, but traffic calms down in the evening.✦Translating

When we visited, there was no internet connection on site. The Camping-Car Park service responded well to help us enter and leave the site.✦Translating

A convenient place for a stopover. Useful for unloading waste and taking in water, but there are no toilets other than at the entrance, and those are public squat toilets. There is an excellent bakery and pastry shop; the croissants are amazing! The road is noisy at night. I would not want to spend more than one night, but it works well for a stopover.✦Translating

Very good, nothing to criticize. We went up to the Maison d'Izieu, 1.5 km away: an essential visit in memory of the children and their companions. Bakery and Vival shop—excellent.✦Translating

We loved this Camping-Car Park area. Very large pitches, shaded or sunny, with an excellent bakery and small supermarket in front, right beside the ViaRhôna and a magnificent waterfall.✦Translating

Poorly maintained area, with branches too low. Fine for a stopover, but there is honestly nothing to see nearby. Two nearby lakes are completely abandoned and we could not swim. The only positive point is the bakery in front, with excellent croissants and wonderful pain bagnat. Too expensive as usual.✦Translating

Camping-Car Park customer. The area has a few shaded pitches. Restaurants are far away on foot. We are not beside the Rhône. Beware of this organization, which makes the situation sound better than it is. A stopover area, like many of theirs.

Very private, well-defined pitch. The main road is not particularly busy, especially at night, so it caused no disturbance.

Lovely little campsite that has been renovated. The pitches vary in size but are all very private. The facilities are very clean. Access to the cycle path is a real bonus.

The ambient noise is difficult to tolerate: a dog barks all night and the very busy road never stops echoing. What a shame for such a peaceful place.

The area is poorly maintained, with developing potholes, low tree branches and untrimmed hedges. Dog owners, please pick up after your dogs on the pitches; it is not pleasant to have to do so upon arrival.

Pros: clean entrance and bakery. Cons: noisy, with a road running alongside the area; trucks pass at night, and when it is not the road, it is the barking dogs. The area is poorly maintained, with weeds over a meter high, overgrown hedges and potholes on some pitches that may cause problems for 3.5-ton vehicles.
