Clos Maine Gravereau

We were warmly and sincerely welcomed. We were allowed to taste all kinds of wines and stay overnight with our camper. Don't expect a romantic spot among the vineyards, but a practical place. The winemaker made us feel at home, and our dog was very welcome too. The wine offers fantastic value for money. Highly recommended! We will return.

Very nice place. We arrived late and met the owner, it was no problem to stay the night. He even pointed us to the water tap where we could fill up fresh water for free. Thank to you very much to the owner!

We stopped for the night, arriving around 8:30 p.m. The owner gave us a very friendly welcome and showed us where all the facilities were. Quiet location with vineyards as far as the eye can see. We recommend it!

An excellent place, with a great welcome from Benoit, who makes very good wine. He provides access to all services—grey-water disposal, electricity and cassette emptying—and it is very quiet at night.

We were warmly welcomed in a simple and pleasant way. At 7 p.m. we received a free tasting of delicious wines. On our way back from Portugal, we will stop by again to stock up on wine.

Where can you still stay for free with electricity? Here. Of course, you may taste the wine and buy a few bottles. The story behind this wine is very interesting: it has existed for 11 generations since 1680. The owner is very friendly and shows you around his business, which has 200,000 liters of wine in stock. Remote, and therefore wonderfully peaceful. The friendly dogs welcome you.

Unfortunately, no one was there anymore at 8:30 p.m. The neighbor then drove me off the property very rudely. The estate owner cannot be blamed for that, so I am still giving five stars because it was a beautiful place and the other reviews are also entirely positive.

Very kind gentleman. I was finally able to fill my water tank after visiting all the areas that had no water because of winter. Very beautiful, quiet place. I recommend it!

July 8, 2022: The pitch is really great. The view of the garden and landscape beyond, especially in the evening sun, is wonderful, and the pitch costs nothing. The wine tasting, however, is tempting: we bought €70 worth of wine, which was quite good during the tasting, but the purchased bottles taste extremely alcoholic. We would come back, but would not buy any more wine.

Benoît's welcome is still just as warm! He is a fascinating and passionate man who tells us about his profession. The tasting is excellent, the wine is good and the prices more than reasonable. The night is extremely peaceful. Don't hesitate to stop here!

Quiet spot at a winemaker's place—really great! There are two picnic tables in the garden, and you can choose to park either on the asphalt or on the grass, which is very convenient. I recommend it without hesitation.
