Been here?
Quiet private farm motorhome spot at Picquigny with Somme Valley views, €5/night for water and disposal. Shaded meadow setting suitable for large vehicles. Cold showers and squat toilets (old, basic). Owner welcoming but may not always be present. Peaceful for those prioritizing quiet over modern amenities.

Super quiet spot, with great views. Great bakery in the village and cycling routes by the river. Came for 1 night and stayed for 3 nights.
Complete peace; the bathrooms and hot water just need some improvement. But for what it offers today, the price is fair.
We came for one night and ended up staying for four. Beautiful peaceful spot on the edge of some farmland. Cold showers and squat toilets are old and in need of some maintenance but totally acceptable for a €5:00 park up with clean water and disposal facilities. Would definitely stay again.
A little disappointing. We did not see anyone. Turkish-style toilet and very, very outdated cold shower. We did not use any service except the disposal.
Very friendly farmer-owner and a very pleasant setting. We emptied the tanks and refilled with water for €5.
Visited in November. RWD camper struggled on wet ground. Squat toilets. Power needed French plugs not commandos so we left. Showers and toilets are those annoying push buttons. I was reminded of a 1970s camping trip which is probably when this place was set up. It's cheap for a reason!
Very quiet on a relatively level meadow. Good value for money. Outdated toilets without hot water.
Delighted to have found this place, close to nature. Thank you to the owner for allowing us to stay peacefully. We were also given a very warm welcome!
Excellent. You arrive and choose your own spot; there is plenty of room and everyone has privacy. Superb sunset. The hosts provide toilets and showers. Nobody came to see me, so I left €10 and a four-leaf clover, because this place radiates simplicity and kindness.
Lovely little place. Excellent value for money. Water and wastewater facilities. A nearby road with relatively little traffic. Located directly beside a large field. Also suitable for very large motorhomes.
Excellent for €5 per night. Simple meadow with a magnificent view and fantastic sunset. The owner was very friendly and came by in the morning to collect payment. The toilets are very old and the squat type.
I agree, great quiet place, but sanitair is wat too dirty to take a shower and come back cleaner. Also very small. Toilets are just french But, for 5 euro's sponsoring the farmers pension, why not :)
Thanks to the owner for this service area, admittedly basic but functional. It is worth noting that places to stay in this region are rare. Don't hesitate.
We were passing through, a good place for one night. There are toilets and showers, but we did not use them. €5 is okay for a pitch.
Everyone gives 5 stars because it only costs €5. That is €4 too much for this filthy mess. Everything is old and dilapidated, the rubbish container is overflowing. The toilet hut is from before the First World War. Yuck, yuck.
It is quiet and inexpensive. Electricity may require a cable lying on the ground. The toilets are the good old holes that have many stories to tell. The showers are also very, very old. Electricity via a cable on the ground. It is okay for one night. Access possible at any time.
Really enjoyed staying here. Great views over the valley. The friendly farmer came in the morning to collect the €5, but there is a honesty box in the shed if you miss him. Small British and Australian WW1 cemetery across the road from the farm. Very well maintained. Didn’t like Picquigny, way too much traffic including large trucks. Nice walks/cycle along the Somme canal though.
Hello everyone, we passed through here. There is no electrical hookup on the grounds, and the sanitary facilities are very outdated, so we left.
Small, quiet area. Park when you arrive, settle in, and go see the owners, who are super friendly. Water filling, disposal, and electricity are available, but for €5 you can't ask for the moon. Everything was very good and the night was peaceful.
We arrived at 10 p.m. and settled in. The next morning, around 10 a.m., someone came to collect the amount due. Well done and thank you for this area. Very quiet.
Beautiful place for a stopover. We arrived at 10 p.m. and left at 10:30 a.m. without seeing the owners. A box with a notebook is provided in a small cabin for payment. I hope everyone plays fair and pays when the owners are away.
Wonderful place, friendly farmer! For €5 you get a quiet pitch on the grass and all services—basic, but fine! Electricity is available for an extra €5. You can hear the road, but it is certainly not disturbing. Panoramic view over the fields and village.
Far from noise and bustle, with a beautiful view over the Somme valley, on a grassy property at the edge of the village, accessible on foot. Friendly owner. Basic sanitary facilities, but we are supposed to have everything we need on board the motorhome. All for €5, plus €5 for electricity—what more could you ask for?
A quiet farm and village, and it is good for a family of four. This area feels like the traditional heart of France. It provides what's necessary, but basic. Wouldn't use the "toilet" or shower.
Five stars straight away: quiet, clean, magnificent view, and very friendly owners. Thank you for making such a property available, with clean sanitary facilities and disposal. It is up to us to respect it.
Great spot for the night, nice grass field. Basic Toilets and cold showers, perfect for only €5. We didn’t see the farmer but we left our money in a tin just inside the little hut full of books. Thank you to the farmer for allowing us a safe place to park!!
Good for one night. The farmer speaks only French, but you can communicate anyway. The meadow was completely empty. The showers were clean but had only cold water, which was fine. All in all, we had a peaceful night.
Lovely spot! Very calm and peaceful. I was alone. I did not see the owner, but thank you for making this space available at such a modest price: €5 plus €5 for electricity! The sanitary facilities are as they are, but simplicity is much better!
Very welcoming owner. We spent a quiet night at a very attractive price.
We stayed for 2 nights with our children at a very affordable price. Thank you to the owners for making this kind of place available. We visited Picquigny, which is a lovely village.
Very beautiful place. A great price at €5. The sanitary facilities are old and unusual but work.
Pleasant service area with facilities. Be careful, there is no European electrical socket. We had a good night's sleep at a very affordable price.
Quiet place, friendly owner, and a beautiful view over the valley.
At the time of writing, nobody has yet come to collect payment for the services. The farmer's day is certainly not over. That said, €5 to spend the night is a small price to pay for the view over the Bay of Somme in a pleasant, spacious area.
