Contrary to the previous review, the campsite is operating. You just need to check the reception opening hours and do not hesitate to call. Excellent welcome at this natural-area-style campsite, where you can park wherever you like. Very well-maintained sanitary facilities and an immaculate service area. Four kilometres from Amboise. €15.50 with electricity. Very quiet. Do not hesitate to stop here.✦Translating

Looks like a nice campsite, but apparently they cannot be bothered. Despite the sign saying open, they are simply closed when you call. Poor service.✦Translating

Very basic but huge campsite without pitches, directly on the Loire. The entrance has no height restriction, but outside the season it is only for the neighbouring sports field. We first had to park outside and obtain an access code at reception. By bicycle, it is the perfect starting point for visiting Amboise.✦Translating

A sweet, very basic campsite directly on the Loire. There are no pitches, so you have a lot of space. We received the access code by phone beforehand; French is a great advantage, as reception was unattended at the time. The toilets are somewhat outdated but acceptable.✦Translating

Unmarked pitches: each motorhome has a really large amount of space. Quiet, apart from a few trains. Very well located for visiting some of the Loire castles. The three basic services are available on site. We recommend it.✦Translating

Very nice campsite. Quiet, with very few people. Toilets are basic but clean. 5 km from Amboise. Cheap: €10 for a camper and 2 people. Electricity €5. Great base for exploring. The ladies at reception do not speak English but are very friendly and you can make yourself understood. If arriving before 4:30 p.m., call and the lady will come over.✦Translating
