Access from the road is via a very narrow path, but it is manageable even with a large motorhome. Very quiet and pleasant parking area. The lock is about 200 m away; there is an authorized place for barbecuing, with facilities available opposite and pedestrian or bicycle access below the lock. There is a residence next to the parking area. Unfortunately, mobile reception is poor in the parking area but okay up at the lock.✦Translating

A place below the lock, which is decorated with a superb painted mural. Friendly lock keepers who take the time to explain things to you. Walking, cycling—everything is there for a pleasant stay. If there are no bins, take your rubbish with you. Thank you.✦Translating

Great little spot. Quiet and clean, on asphalt. Visiting the lock is impressive: 16 m deep, with a very beautiful mural on the wall. Lots of boats pass along the canal; it is pleasant. Many thanks to VNF. Cycling, hiking, average 4G, no TV.✦Translating

Really nice place to stay ! We were only 2 vans on that night. It is worth to stay and have a walk ! Try story about the network, don’t go there if you need 4 or 5G ^^

You should know that the last kilometer is too narrow for vehicles to pass each other. There are not many pleasure boats passing, so you may be lucky enough to see the lock operating. Enjoy a nice walk through the countryside along the Marne.✦Translating

Five stars even though there is absolutely nothing here. Little or no mobile network coverage, but the location, silence, and peace are worth the five stars. You can cycle wonderfully here, the lock is really nice to see, and of course you can enjoy walking. It says there is space for three campers, but there may be more. The visitors just might not appreciate that! Take your own rubbish with you.✦Translating

Lovely spot right next to the lock. Extremely peaceful, and we slept wonderfully. Picnic areas nearby. Interesting surroundings, with nice locks to look at.✦Translating

We were alone in this small parking area for one night in the middle of nature! The next day, the autumn colors surprised us with their beauty from the top of this lovely lock. Ideal for walks in the surrounding area.✦Translating

The access road is in poor condition, but still passable. The place can get busy with visitors' cars during the day, but it is very quiet at night. A good starting point for cycling tours along the canal.✦Translating
