Unnamed Road, 25070, Casto
Been here?
A quiet, shaded woodland spot with a drinking-water fountain, tables, benches, hiking routes, a small lake and an MTB route. Nights are peaceful, while cars use the narrow, winding road during the day. Most parking spaces are sloping, and the site rules prohibit littering and making campfires.

Quiet place with a water point, perfect for enjoying the Forges Park for a few days.
Easily accessible, drinking-water point, green and shaded area, quiet night, tables and benches available. During the day, cars pass along the road.
Spectacular woodland corner with running water from the fountain, even in winter.
Magnificent place for the night, a weekend or a picnic. There are two tables with benches, a fountain, benches, a pond and numerous hiking and mountain-bike trail signs. Extremely quiet night. Almost all parking spaces are sloping. Beware: the road is very narrow and winding. Fine for vans up to 6 metres, but not longer. Leave the place clean!
Magnificent place, very quiet. Some locals come to fill their bottles with mountain water. There is a short walk on a trail called “the gnome village.” Do not be put off by the condition of the road; it really is a road, not a trail.
Very charming, clean place, almost perfect! Little traffic during the day, apart from locals from a nearby village who come to fill their water bottles. Locals say this is the most diuretic water and the first spring water collected in the mountains. The nights are very quiet! It is difficult to get level without levelling blocks. Keep the place clean and watch out for toilet paper. Thank you for this spot; we had two magical nights!
Lovely place to stay in the middle of nature. Everyone we came across was very friendly, road had a few cars down it until late but it didn’t bother us. Water fountain was great to have, no rubbish bins so take your rubbish with you! The best bit was - no mosquitos! Only access this place from the road from Casto if you value your van’s suspension
