Roadside parking, calm nights

Beside the road, but a quiet night with no traffic. Superb view; we were able to watch a magnificent sunset. Accessible with our 8-metre vehicle; there were two motorhomes and plenty of space remained.

Very beautiful view, very quiet spot at night, and the added bonus of cows passing by in the evening and morning. It adds even more charm to the spot; you feel privileged!

We spent two peaceful nights (alone the first, with two other vans the second) with a magnificent view of the volcanoes and pastures.... The 60 cows from the nearby farm pass by every evening, a wonderful attraction for young and old. Our daughter loved it! However, the picnic table is no longer there.

Very good location, panoramic view of the Sancy, no services, starting point for hikes to the Chaudefour valley. There is a farm 800 m away selling Saint-Nectaire cheese and local products. Highly recommended.

Perfect place to spend the night before heading to the start of the hikes at the Maison du Parc in the Chaudefour valley. Beautiful views on both sides of the road, which has very little traffic.
