At the last minute we were looking for somewhere to spend the night and found this campsite. For us, it was by far the nicest campsite we have ever visited. We booked at the last minute, received the information by SMS, and found large pitches and a beautiful, peaceful campsite. The facilities and cleanliness were amazing. We were completely satisfied and you definitely must not miss this campsite.
Very nice campsite. The sanitary facilities are very clean, the pitches are nicely spacious, and the staff are extremely friendly. The price for one night was 630 kronor including electricity.
Everything was great: a very beautiful sandy swimming bay, and another bay farther along with wonderful rocks, friendly staff, and very large pitches.
Very nice location with fresh showers and toilets. Decent restaurant with a fantastic location.
Very nice campsite. The sanitary facilities and kitchen are clean. You can rent canoes and boats directly here.
Very nice campsite!
Reception staffed until 5:00 p.m. Very friendly. The pitch had been cleared. After we had settled into our pitch, the path to the sanitary facilities was even cleared of snow for us. They shoveled especially for us. Sanitary facilities excellent: two toilets and two showers each for women and men, plus three family showers. Everything very clean and relatively new. The only thing is that the hot water could be a little hotter.
Okay for one night while passing through. Since the reception was already closed when we arrived, we checked in online. 330 SEK, shower included. Service House 3 urgently needs renovation (flip-flops recommended). The view was great, the staff friendly, and walking the dog was possible. You can apparently use the washing machine too.
Very nice campsite. The three sanitary buildings are very clean. One is mostly closed because it is low season. The reception is also open only for limited hours, as is the restaurant. We did eat very well! The restaurant was very reasonably priced and includes a salad bar, water, coffee, and dessert. The campsite is very complete: sandy beach, rocky beach, jetty, rental of all kinds of equipment, playground, volleyball, basketball, mini-golf, and more. Nothing negative to say!
A really beautiful place directly on the lake with a beach. The water is very shallow and the bottom is sandy, so you can walk far into the lake. The sanitary facilities are brand new and absolutely clean. Cooking facilities are available. Wi-Fi is only available around the service buildings, but this is also communicated when checking in, including in writing. Very quiet, with spacious pitches. The price is okay!
Perhaps many people avoid this campsite because of the poor reviews? It is empty, with a nice playground, clean sanitary facilities, and a beautiful shallow lake. Not expensive—around 350 SEK including electricity, showers, washing machine, and dryer, all of which were free. I imagine the pitches are quite exposed in windy weather. The children get puzzle books. We will remember this place for our next trip!
I don’t understand where the previous reviews came from. We have been here several times. Clean and pleasant campsite, especially with children. The washing machine is free to use, although it must be booked in advance, and with our 6.5-meter camper van we paid between 350 and 420 kronor per night each time, even in high season. Also nice: everything is clearly indicated from the camper and there are beautiful walking routes.
This place is a complete disappointment. At a price of 640 SEK for one night including everything, many sinks in the kitchens do not work or have no water. Even in the men’s showers, the water pressure dropped enormously when they worked.
Two stars for the proximity to the lake. We saw fishermen but no fish. The expensive all-inclusive setup where nothing works—that is the principle of this campsite, with queues for everything and no Wi-Fi even next to reception.
Simply mass processing… Pitches are sloping, Wi-Fi is poor, and it is very crowded! Far too expensive for what you get: €110 for two nights for a small van with electricity. NO recommendation!
Beautiful but overpriced (€60 all-inclusive): our pitch was crooked and sloping, Wi-Fi is poor, the dishwasher was broken, hand-washing dishes required queuing, and there was a waiting list of several days for the washing machine. The place is beautiful, but far too expensive for what it offers. No recommendation!
Very beautiful, well-maintained pitch. We had plenty of space for our van. The staff are very friendly and multilingual. The service buildings are very clean. The “Leuchtturm” restaurant is only a few minutes’ walk away. The hiking trails are very well signposted. Canoes, pedal boats, and rowing boats can be rented. We stayed for seven nights and were very satisfied.
A decent campsite. We spent two nights here, enjoyed some sunshine by the water, and then continued our journey. Wi-Fi is a little slow in the evenings. 4G reception is usable with Tele2.
Beautiful pitch for one night, well located by the lake. Very friendly staff. Sanitary facilities, especially in Service House 1, are very clean. The only deduction is that our pitch down by the lake resembled a minefield of dog droppings, and the previous guests were apparently too refined to clean up after their beloved four-legged friend. Please keep the pitches clean!
Great campsite directly on the beach! Good playground, also for the very youngest. Washing machines and dryers are free; you book a three-hour slot on a list, with two machines usable at the same time. There are often discounts such as three nights for the price of two. Around €25 per night in mid-June. We spontaneously extended our stay to seven nights. Very family-friendly—a clear recommendation! The only drawback is that the shower water temperature cannot be adjusted.
