Been here?
A large city car park near Cochem’s centre, with designated motorhome spaces at the back and a short walk to the town. Parking costs 3€ for 24 hours and payment is cash only. There are no toilets or other services, and the entrance and exit are narrow. Trains may be audible, although some stays are reported as quiet; busy periods can leave vehicles boxed in, so choose a space with an escape route.

Huge parking area with plenty of spaces. Only €3. Everything is within walking distance. We parked only during the day and did not stay overnight.
This place is quiet and close to the center. We slept well and felt safe. The trains do not run at night; the spot is at the back of the parking area.
Great location, really inexpensive and centrally located. The only drawback is the trains, especially freight trains, which also run at night.
Very nice place, pleasant atmosphere, and it is lit. Definitely recommended. I have stayed here several times over the years. The town of Cochem is within walking distance.
Great park up. Was quiet overnight. Cheap at €3 fr 24hrs. Cash only. Only issue no toilets nearby or at station. If busy then you do get cars parked in around your van causing issues to get out. So park where you have an escape. Narrow coming out of car park also.
A nice place to stay with a camper! Do pay attention to your camper’s height. At the very back there are large spaces for campers for only €3. We were not bothered by the train at all and slept wonderfully. The nearby station also makes it feel safe. Excellent location: the center of Cochem is about a five-minute walk away!
At the back of the second parking area you can stand perfectly well—very quiet and cheap. If you occupy two spaces, I recommend buying two tickets to avoid misunderstandings, which apparently have happened before. But for €3 all day, you cannot go wrong. No facilities, but only 10 minutes from the center.
Good motorhome site for exploring the town. Perfect for a stopover. Very inexpensive.
Great option for spending one or two nights. The station is not a problem. We slept well. A short walk to the center.
Excellent location for visiting Cochem. €3 for 24 hours. Quiet location.
Very close to the center, and €2 covered four hours. We did not sleep here, only spent the day.
Very good place. Even if you are only staying overnight, it costs €2 for 15 hours. Train traffic is limited. Everything is fine.
This is a good place to stay. The rear area can also accommodate longer motorhomes or vehicles with trailers. Large liners may have problems with the 3.10 m clearance under the railway underpass. €3 for 24 hours is very cheap. Drive through to the rear area. The front parking area is private and costs €10 per 24 hours. However, there are no facilities here at all. The town is easily reachable on foot.
Good parking near the amazing town center. 3€ for 24hrs. Good fairly level hard standing. Next to railway line, but no overnight trains as we noticed. No services. Excellent value! Town is stunning, lots of little shops, eateries, lovely old buildings. Allow an extra day!
Very cheap parking area for visiting the town. I did not stay overnight, so I cannot comment on that.
Large, spacious parking area without facilities at the train station. At the far end of the parking area there is no prohibition on motorhomes, and the price is €3 per 24 hours. Important! Access is through a passage with a 3.1 m height restriction. Perfect for visiting the beautiful town.
Spacious parking area, also suitable for campers up to 6.40 m. €3 for 24 hours. We were not bothered by the train or other noises. Peaceful night. There are plenty of bins along the route if you go walking, so you can distribute your rubbish.
Thank you, Cochem, for the affordable and excellent motorhome parking option. You rarely find that. Many thanks.
Thank you, Cochem, for this centrally located and inexpensive parking area—€3 for 24 hours. Drive all the way to the back; the front section behind the station is operated privately for cars and costs €10. Despite the trains, we had a peaceful night.
At first we were skeptical because of the station, but at night it was surprisingly quiet and we slept well. As parking for exploring Cochem, €3 for 24 hours is unbeatable. You can even put up with the lack of a rubbish bin.
