Bantry Pier, Kinathfineen
Been here?
A paying motorhome area beside Bantry Pier, with five electric spaces, fresh water, black and gray waste disposal and toilets. A recent report states €25 for 24 hours including electricity, waste services, water and toilets, while general waste disposal costs €4. The site has attractive marina views, is a 10-minute walk from Bantry House and close to town. Road traffic is noticeable during the day but recent stays were quiet at night, and showers are available at the Maritime Hotel.

Good for waste disposal and fresh water. Toilet codes: Men’s toilet: C0237 Women’s toilet: C3489 10 minutes to Bantry House.
decent clean park up .Expensive to just empty waste etc..4 euro just to put general waste in a bin..Nice spot though for Bantry town
Great spot with beautiful view. Electric and water well worth the price. Your able to use the showers in the Maritime hotel just show your parking ticket
Very good place with a beautiful view and close to town. Also at the upper end of our price range, but occasionally you have to dispose of waste and replenish supplies. The best coffee is right behind it at the petrol station; the road does not disturb you at night.
Great location by the sea. It was quiet at night for us. Tip: the toilet code can be found on the harbour website. Excellent. Accessible toilet available in the women’s restroom.
Practical but not very glamorous. Electrical hookup, waste disposal and water. Very good. Otherwise lots of concrete around and traffic during the day. No accessible shower or toilet.
Paying €5 per hour for parking seems like a good deal, but having to pay another €4 to throw away our rubbish is simply outrageous.
Pitch with electricity; black water (toilet) can be disposed of at the side next to the toilet. €25 for 24 hours including electricity, waste disposal, water and toilets. The toilet code can be found on the marina website. Despite St Patrick’s weekend (13 March 2026), we are the only motorhome at this pitch. Maximum stay: 5 days.
Great park-up. Stayed over New Year’s Eve. Electrical hookup, amenities available for a fee, and clean toilets (code on the website: Visit Bantry). Bantry is a lovely town, with amazing New Year’s Eve fireworks. Boat to Whiddy Island €8. Maritime Hotel showers €3. Felt safe.
Well located parking for visiting Bantry. We settled in, but discovered two motorhomes whose occupants did not respect the others (three children running and shouting between the vehicles at 10:30 pm), nor the site (each threw their dishwater onto the parking area). We decided to leave, paying the full rate, and went farther on near the hotel.
We slept there with some noise from the road alongside the area. There are toilets, but they are locked with a code lock and the code is not provided. There is a water tap... non-potable?
View of the marina; very busy road during the day but acceptable at night for €20. Impossible to obtain the code to use the toilets? Some Irish subtlety, I suppose. Paid rubbish disposal. I booked for a 6 m boat and understood nothing! I hope I can get out tomorrow. The compressor at the station opposite could be switched off at night; that would be nice.
Very convenient to Bantry town (3min walk). Clean toilets. Maritime Hotel provide showers €3 or access to swimming pool etc for €8. We found it great to walk around town.
We accessed the area only to fill and empty tanks. You need to pay attention to the lines on the ground. The yellow lines are the grey-water disposal area; the white lines are for parking the vehicle and filling with drinking water—there is a tap. We emptied the black water. We paid €4 to dispose of rubbish. On leaving, we paid €5.50 by contactless card. Everything perfect.
We entered, emptied the black water into the designated receptacle, emptied the grey water into the drain in the yellow area, exited and paid €2. No drinking water, but we managed fine!
Seven spaces, £22 for 24 hours and you still must pay £4 for rubbish disposal. I parked in carpark opposite, further from busy road. 3 spaces at far end, which you could reverse into with a bit of manoeuvring. As previous comment, you still pay if there are no spaces. Lovely views.
A short walk to the town and Bantry House. Secure and toilets in working order. We didn't use the showers, so can't comment. Close electric points. Not too noisy for a main road. Very windy but you are in the bay and it was a stormy night. I think this is a better option than the free car park opposite the bay.
Absolutely stunning location on the edge of Bantry Bay. Great facilities with gorgeous sunsets, what more can we ask for???
Be careful, because access is allowed even when there are no spaces available for motorhomes! If you decide to leave immediately, you will have to pay €5.50! And if you are lucky enough to find a space, there may not be any free electrical outlets. The parking area is also noisy because of the adjacent road. A shame, because the location would otherwise be very beautiful.
Beautiful harbour parking with marked motorhome bays beside the water and fab views from camper window! Toilet emptying (next to toilet building), dump drain in tarmac marked by a yellow painted square beside parking bays, Fresh water tap at EHU bollard. €22 pay at machine on exit. Extra €4 for rubbish disposal by toilets. Quiet overnight, few mins walk to town centre with bars, shops.
Excellent spot for a night beside the wharf. Secure with gate access. 22Euros plus 4Euros to use waste bin. Nice walk into town with a range of pubs and takeaways plus 2 supermarkets. Gas station with food etc opposite. It was a little noisy in the early evening but very quiet for the night.
Perfect for spending one night. Very quiet and well sheltered. Beautiful park and hotel. Grey-water disposal and toilet emptying included in the €15 nightly rate.
Arrived intending to stay. No free spots were available and the road was noisy. We decided not to stay but still had to pay €5.50 in cash to exit the car park.
We were lucky to get a spot with electric. Great simple spot and the quays is a great place to eat just up the road. There is a lot of road noise but thats to be expected when so close to the road and town .
We ended up here just to park for the day but there were no signs to show tariffs for anything and entrance is just off the road so not so easy to back out. 4 euros to deposit your rubbish which is tourist robbery if you already pay 22 euros to stay overnight. We then went to West lodge hotel where they have a camper park for 10 euros. access to gym showers 5 euros
Designated camper spaces at Marina Pier, €22 per 24 hours. Electricity, water, grey- and black-water disposal, and toilets. Toilet access codes are on the ticket. Road noise, close to the town centre, shops, restaurants and bars.
24/04/24. Motorhome parking next to the sea with electricity and grey- and black-water disposal. Only the men's toilet was open. Rubbish disposal costs €4. Convenient for visiting the town. We spent one night there. Quiet.
I stayed here for 1 night, cost was €22 including electrical hook-up, grey water disposal, there is a drain in the middle of the carpark next to the RV area with a yellow box around it. toilet code from the website. It was quiet from around 10 until traffic started again around 6.30, the location is beside the main road to and from Bantry.
