Been here?
Free flat paved parking area with shade and picnic tables, beside a small waterway. A family-friendly guinguette (bar) sits just across a bridge, serving local beer and homemade food. Quiet spot popular with cyclists; accessible for paddle activities and walking. Can get busy on Friday and weekend evenings.

Beautiful parking area. Busy in the evening (Friday), but that wasn't a problem for us. Otherwise, there is a nice atmosphere here. A walk in the nearby nature reserve/horse pasture is recommended. By bike, it's about 8 km to Abbeville, following the Somme all the way. This is one of the most beautiful spots between the picnic areas along the Somme and Abbeville.
Great spot, with the possibility of trying paddleboarding or something else on the small waterway. Great little family-run outdoor café/bar across the bridge, with high-quality homemade food and local beer. A lovely surprise overall.
After crossing the swing bridge, there is an outdoor café, a very pleasant place to enjoy a local beer and a small hot meal. Note: In June, it is open on weekends, but not every evening; check beforehand.
An excellent, quiet spot without services. During the day, fishermen and families come to relax and leave in the evening. A flat, paved area sheltered by trees. We slept here for two nights.
Great spot, quiet except for the ducks, clean.
Very good spot. We spent the day here, the dogs went swimming, and there are picnic tables. It is possible to sleep here at night. I will probably return.
The location is charming, but the bar was closed the evening we stayed and the night was short thanks to a local who set up there with a caravan and canopy, played disco music and sang badly until midnight, then started again at 7 a.m.
Pleasant place, quiet night. Small bar right next door. Lovely walk.
We stayed one quiet night. Direct access to the cycle path to Saint-Valery in about 25 relaxed minutes, completely flat. Tables and bins available, and across the bridge there is a nice snack bar with vintage decor, excellent local beer, and snacks.
Very good location. Thanks to Patof62 for recommending Le Repos des Pêcheurs on the other side of the bridge. A place not to be missed. Very, very pleasant staff and decor that absolutely deserves to be seen.
When you are here, go and have a croque monsieur or a beer at Le Repos du Pêcheur, just across the bridge.
Stayed here for a break to have some lunch. Nice place. Would use again.
We have stayed here a couple of times in 2024 and it is a great place for a nights stop over. On 16 June 2025 the road to it from Cahon is temporarily closed, not clear if the reason is road works or works on bridge.
Very natural setting along the Somme, with picnic tables, a barbecue, and bins available. The bridge is noisy, but it did not stop us sleeping well; from 10:30 p.m. traffic is minimal (Saturday to Sunday night).
Very beautiful, quiet place. You are welcomed by ducks that do not hesitate to come and see you. Yes, you can hear the bridge, but it is not bothersome.
Good location, but the wooden bridge is really very noisy. Otherwise, it is excellent for cycling and walking.
Clean place. It is true that the bridge is noisy, but there is little traffic at night (late April, Friday to Saturday night). You can cycle and walk here. I liked the view of the canal and the ducks.
Really nice, with a few motorhomes. A very beautiful walk awaits.
