Camping l'Horizon

Lovely campsite run by Johanna and Christopher. For our motorhome friends, the pitches are adequate, with water, electricity and waste disposal. We enjoyed a nice evening during the World Cup semi-final, with moules and fries at the campsite pool snack bar. A great discovery during our stay in the Cévennes.

Quiet family campsite nestled in the heart of the Cévennes countryside. The owners are friendly and very welcoming. Our pitch is well shaded by oak trees and has a direct view of the garrigue. The elevated swimming pool is superb. Do not hesitate to try the fries at the snack bar… they are homemade! Delicious!!! We will definitely return!!!

We have just spent four nights at this campsite. The owners are really friendly! It is indeed quite a climb, but it is manageable! Very nice pool with a superb view! We recommend it.

Kudos to these young people who work so hard to keep this campsite going. Friendly welcome, and I recommend the pool. Very clean; the only problem is the steep climb to access it.

I highly recommend it! A great welcome and pitches under the trees with a constant little breeze, a swimming pool, snacks, peace and quiet... A peaceful, family-friendly place.

As mentioned above, a very warm welcome; I recommend it. We passed through the Cévennes with a 7.5-meter motorhome and a trailer. I was able to drive up to the pitch alone, and the owner helped by bringing up the trailer with his vehicle. The concrete road is indeed quite steep, but it is worth it.

I confirm the previous comments: a very warm welcome, an incredible pool and views. The slope is steep at first, but you get used to it...

Beautiful campsite, excellent pool, very friendly owners. We stayed here for three nights with three people and one dog for 100 euros in August, including all facilities. I would give it a 10 if I could. In one word: fantastic... truly recommended.

To confirm everything said in the previous comments, you can even get up with a trailer in our case. Very friendly owners, peaceful place with the sound of cicadas, superb pool and views.
