Roadside lay-by, truck noise

A small lay-by beside a relatively busy road, with views over open fields and no facilities. It can work for a one-night stop and is close to the motorway, but traffic and trucks create considerable noise, especially in the morning. Access is difficult, and the site may be better suited to a brief overnight break than a quiet stay.

Great place for one night. Close to the motorway. It is beside a relatively busy road, so it is not quiet.
Okay for one night. Located between a road and a field. We stopped here during the high season. The place seems little used.
Indeed far too noisy for my taste, especially in the morning. Lots of trucks! Nevertheless, we managed to sleep.
Just a puny little lay-by that is difficult to get into and right next to the road, we saw it and moved on.
Quite loud next to the road but a peaceful area in general. Nice walks to be had along the canal. Not very busy in the carpark and we were completely undisturbed. Lovely views over open countryside. No facilities at all.
