29 Rue Jules Ferry, 29200, Brest
Been here?
This is a free parking area near Brest city centre, useful for visiting the city and close to a tram route. It is large and accessible, and a 7m motorhome can fit between cars, but spaces are mainly sized for ordinary cars. Overnight stays are possible, though traffic, a nearby cinema and early-morning refuse collection can cause noise.

Well located for visiting the city, which has no interest. It is possible to stay overnight, but I would not have liked to.
Large parking lot, easy to access. I found a space between two cars despite my 7 m motorhome. However, the city is not particularly interesting, so I did not stay.
We parked on street here for free on a Monday lunchtime and spent a happy few hours pottering around Brest. The walk into the centre follows a tram route, is under a mile and plenty to see on the way. Recommend
We spent one night here. The parking lot is indeed very busy, and there is a cinema not far away. We found a spot that was relatively quiet until 6 a.m., when the garbage collectors woke us up. We parked on the road side. Playground nearby for children, and an area provided for our canine friends.
We were there on a Sunday morning, and the lot was almost full. The spaces are sized for normal cars. If a motorhome exceeds these dimensions in length or width, you need to find two adjacent spaces. I think the chance of that is rather low.
Very large free parking lot, lots of free space, quiet night, nearby tram access. Excellent parking for sleeping a few nights.
