Shaded parking under trees beside the ramparts, with a playground, beach access a little further down, and the town center less than 10min walk away. Overnight stays have been quiet, and the location is convenient for visiting the town. Parking for camper vans over 2.1m high is prohibited throughout Port-Louis, with Camping-Car Park suggested instead.

Attention! Parking is prohibited throughout the town for all motorhomes over 2.1 m high. Do not waste your time; move on if you intended to visit Port Louis and its citadel during the day. Otherwise, spend a night at a Camper Park.
Thanks to the municipality for this opportunity. We slept peacefully here for one night and used the footpath into town to buy bread. An impressive municipality, but not very open to strangers.
Very well located for parking for just one day while visiting this lovely little town. Very pleasant and shaded place.
