Been here?
This campsite beside a lake offers overnight pitches, essential services and clean sanitary facilities, with many permanent campers. The sanitary buildings are old but functional, and water may only be available at the sanitary building during the off-season; water disposal is not possible on the site. Aircraft from Frankfurt and motorway noise are audible. After 18 reception may be closed, but online check-in provides a code for the barrier and sanitary facilities.

Well-equipped campsite with all essential services and clean sanitary facilities. Access after 6 p.m. can be complicated because reception is closed, but with online check-in and payment, you receive the code by email to open the barrier and access all sanitary facilities. Staff are professional but not very friendly. Ideal for one or two nights.
Rather cold welcome, and it was difficult to find the procedure for obtaining access badges for the sanitary facilities. Noise from planes taking off from Frankfurt. Otherwise, clean sanitary facilities. Many permanent residents.
The washroom buildings are outdated, but everything still works very well. Arrival and electricity also work well. It naturally depends on your expectations.
The sanitary building is very old but functional. In the off-season, the water connections at the pitches are turned off, so water is only available at the sanitary building. However, vehicles are not allowed to drive there. Wastewater disposal is not possible at the campsite. Access chips are obtained from a safe, which did not work for us. Fine for a few nights.
A “special” campsite. Many run-down permanent-camper pitches. The lakeside area is very neglected. They have modernised it for travellers. Booking and processing are entirely online. Reception hours are very limited, for example only from 9:30 in the morning. You receive all information by email and are apparently not supposed to ask in person. Positive: a very good Italian restaurant in the nearby tennis club.
The sanitary facilities are old but clean. A very practical machine at the sanitary building provides 24/7 access to paid services such as Wi-Fi and laundry/dryer facilities, so you are not dependent on reception hours. Unfortunately, the site is directly under the airport flight path, so it gets fairly loud from time to time, at least during the day. Overall, okay.
The pitches are spacious and level, so you can park well. That is about all the positive there is. We chose the site because it is directly on a lake. At 33°C, we were looking forward to cooling off. According to the many prohibition signs, you are not even allowed to put your big toe in the water. I suppose this site will not become one of our favourites.
We expected something different based on the reviews. The sanitary facilities are old but clean; noise from planes and the road was acceptable. Electricity only activated sometime during the night. We arrived at 8 p.m. Our impression: around the entrance and reception area, things are untidy and cluttered. Travellers are merely tolerated; they want as little work from them as possible.
We stayed on the site for two nights and liked it very much, especially the uncomplicated booking and reservation. We also liked the bread-roll service. The sanitary facilities are old but have been well renovated. A huge thank-you to the operators, who put so much dedication into the site. We will return!
Nice little campsite; sanitary facilities are not modern but clean. Unfortunately, it is directly under the airport’s takeoff route, although it is quiet at night. Two people with a motorhome: €23.50, electricity extra (€3).
We stayed here for two nights and were satisfied. The sanitary facilities were fine, and the site itself was also fine, with lots of greenery.
