A partly shaded picnic parking area parallel to a road, with fixed tables and garbage bins. It is pleasant for a daytime break, although recent reports describe road noise during the day and traffic increasing from about 5am. Some litter has been found on the ground.

Good for a picnic, but noisy with the road next to it
Pleasant area for lunchtime and a quick rest
It is beside the road but very little noise at night. There are bins available, but unfortunately there is still rubbish on the ground. Nevertheless, it remains pleasant with the tables provided.
Very convenient stopover after getting off a late ferry. As others have said the adjacent road is not too busy at night but the volume of traffic builds from about 5am. If you're a light sleeper I suggest earplugs or find another spot.
Nice place before or after the ferry to Caen. There is hardly any traffic on the road at night.
