1 Avenida das Quintãs, 6300-175, Pousade
Been here?
A free, clean motorhome area in Pousade, 12 km east of Guarda, with 5 paved spaces and working water, drainage, electricity and toilets. The toilets have paper and soap but no locks. About 20 m away are picnic tables, a barbecue, playground and sports park beside the Ribeira das Cabras river. The village has a café and restaurant, and a baker arrives at 08:00 on most days.

One of our favourites and probably the best Aire in Portugal. All services for free and working incl ehu, clean working toilets with paper and soap (although they have no locks). Lovely little play park bbq and picnic tables across the road. Nice walks if you have a dog. Very friendly locals and the cheapest taverna 10 minutes walk up the main road
Clean, new aire. Free services. We met Aurélia, who gave us valuable information about places to visit. Thank you to the municipality.
A quiet place to spend the night with all necessary facilities such as electricity, water, toilet disposal, etc. Public toilets in the building next door. The village has a café and a restaurant. Conveniently, the baker comes by at 8:00 in the morning, and at 10:30 a mobile shop with fruit, vegetables and other necessities also comes to the parking area. The neighbour visits the camper very often.
A wonderful place with all services, and the villagers are very welcoming.
Excellent place, very pleasant, with beautiful level pitches and all amenities free of charge. Thank you to the municipality for this perfect facility.
A top-class aire. Very clean, quiet, not far from Guarda and other small villages to visit. We were welcomed by the neighbour, who invited us for coffee or beer at his home. This very kind gentleman also speaks French very well. There is even a mobile baker who comes to the aire in the morning.
An area with everything, and all free (including paper and soap in the toilets). Green spaces for each motorhome or camper. Thanks to the village of Pousade... Beautiful place beside the river pool in summer and just the river in winter. One of the neighbours came to welcome us and invite us for wine or coffee at his home. Village of almost 100 inhabitants.
Very recently built area. With all services (water, electricity, Wi-Fi and very clean toilets), everything five stars. We were also welcomed by Mr Aurélio, a neighbour of the park, who explained in detail all the tourist attractions and local gastronomy, and we also received the usual invitation to his home for coffee. Five stars all around.
All facilities are available and working properly. You are given a very friendly welcome. Every day except Sunday, the baker arrives promptly at 8:00 a.m. A small playground is across the rather busy road. Unfortunately, due to persistent rain, we saw nothing of the surroundings.
A very well-maintained site with a friendly welcome and an invitation for coffee at the mayor's home. Clean toilets, quiet location—a highly recommended stop for any length of time! We would gladly return.
One of those rare areas with spotless toilets, necessary water-disposal services, and a neighbour who comes over to give you all kinds of information about the surroundings. He also offers some local products. It is worth stopping here for peace and quiet.
A motorhome aire that can be recommended without reservation. Everything is available free of charge. There is water, electricity, grey water and toilet cassette disposal, toilets, barbecue, wood-fired oven, tables, a boules court and a children's playground. A gentleman from the village, Aurelio I think, comes to welcome tourists. He speaks at least six languages and is an excellent tour guide.
Very clean and beautifully laid-out camper site. Everything provided. Electricity is available at some pitches. Such a shame about the noise from the nearby small factory and the main road, so it is not very quiet. Apart from that, a top site.
Small, beautiful campsite, electricity included, toilets very clean, rubbish bins, tables and benches, baker service at 8:00, quiet at night. Welcomed by the village elder, with an invitation for coffee or schnapps. Excellent explanations about village life. Great! We also tried Café Pousadense, with good, authentic Portuguese food. Many thanks to the municipality for providing the site! Absolutely wonderful!!
Area with all services. Village with two restaurants and a beer bar. As soon as we arrived, the mayor appeared to welcome us, and shortly afterwards Aurelio, a very pleasant neighbour, invited us for coffee at his home.
I also liked this place, as commented before! Alone, quiet overnight besides road crossing aside. I got energy from one of sockets.
Lovely stop near a road but not too busy and quiet at night play area for kids granite stone picknic table and chairs along the river with bbq area and toilets and services we were met by a local who said help to everyone who came he spoke lots of languages explaining the area and inviting us for a coffee level park up top.
A great place that offers everything. The mayor explained everything to us. In the morning, a baker's van arrived with fresh rolls. Space to walk the dog. Water and waste disposal. What more could a camper want? We would gladly return.
