Free parking suitable for visiting Kinderdijk and its windmills, with bicycles available to borrow. The place is level and quiet, but overnight parking is prohibited. Staff currently ask overnight visitors to leave within 10 minutes, and a notice confirming the prohibition has been issued.

Ideal parking for visiting the windmills and the village.
Level, quiet place to spend the night if the nearby campsites are full. Tip from the campsite operator! If you are inside the fence, Kinderdijk Tourist Information staff come by at around 8:30 a.m. to tell you that overnight stays are prohibited and that you must leave within 10 minutes.
It's fine for cycling to visit the mills, but you can't sleep there. They left us a note saying it was prohibited.
