Been here?
This is an accessible beach parking area before the rougher sand and bumps, with the beach only 20 meters away. Beach showers are 200 meters away, and two Wi-Fi networks reportedly provide good reception. The surroundings are peaceful out of season, though dogs may bark during the first part of the night.

Greeks are destroying their own tourism. Just fined an Italian couple with 300 eur fine. Next year we will definitely skip Greece... :(
Great, fairly quiet in mid-March 2025. We stayed two nights. There are two Wi-Fi networks with good reception.Translating
We went almost to the end, as far as a normal car could go. The road is quite bad; farther on, only a 4x4 can make it. It is fine, a wild beach, with toilets and water right at the entrance where the terraces are.Translating
Nice place, but be careful not to get stuck. Cassette-toilet servicing is possible in the public toilet, and showers are available.Translating
Amazing place there are plenty of options with 4*4 or not. you are right on the beach, there are beach bars around where you can have your coffee and use the facility. Garbage also around.
From the paved road, you can choose to take the dirt road right (west) or left (east). It is currently easy to drive, with many potholes but no soft sand. We eventually spent the night east of all the beach tents and bars. Little traffic, great place, and a friendly Greek fisherman provided us with useful tips.Translating
The approach is bumpy but manageable for everyone. Cars pass by occasionally, but people always greet you kindly. We saw six small tortoises. Four stray dogs bark occasionally at night but otherwise just lie in the shade. You can even hear coyotes in the evening. The only downside is that the dogs bring ticks from the dunes! We each found one directly on our feet on the first day.Translating
I really liked it. Beach visitors during the day, but the nights are really quiet and really dark, so perfect for watching the stars. The beach is nice too and you can park really close to it. Be careful though, because I got stuck in the sand :-)
We were here in the off-season and it was wonderfully quiet and deserted. It is important to know your vehicle. The farther you drive, the less paved the road becomes. We parked relatively far back on a raised area, even without 4x4. Apart from some anglers and another camper, nobody was there, and we could listen to the waves all night. Bins can be found right at the beginning of the access road.Translating
The parking area fills up early in the morning. It is not a pleasant place to stay. So it is better to drive a few hundred meters farther toward the shipwreck. There are fewer cars there.Translating
Indeed, it is just a parking lot, and not a nice one either. The previous comment said it all.Translating
This is a parking lot...a parking lot. Thus lots of passage, lots of cars, lots of people, loud beach bars, zero privacy. like I said...a parking lot (with a water tap!).
Super beautiful place! There are public showers on the beach!!Translating
Slept very well by the beach; there were already quite a few motorhomes, even in April.Translating
Nice and calm place to spend some time close to the beach.
