Palace parking, sloping spaces

The disadvantage of the 7 m-long pitches is that if the neighbors parked in front of and behind you use their marked areas fully, you can be trapped depending on your length. We felt stressed wondering whether we could leave at any time. Motorhomes departing before 7 a.m. wake you up. In summer, tour buses leave their engines running.

€3 per night is reasonable, but €15 per day is a little expensive considering there are no services. The few spaces quickly fill up during the day, and buses need their spaces. For visiting the castle, it is better to book your time slot in advance, but the garden is free.

Full marks for the ideal location for the castle and the straightforward parking-fee process. However, €4.95 as an EasyPark service fee is unacceptable! Better to pay at the machine.

Warning!!! "SERVICE FEE". Please pay by card only at the machine. The "EasyPark app" charges an incredibly high service fee, and nobody knows what it is for.

Great place! Large. The hop-on hop-off bus is around the corner. We did the route by bicycle. If you stay overnight, the parking tariff starts again.

€8 for 2 hours 35 minutes. Sufficient for visiting the palace, which is worth it, €14 per person. Too expensive, over €20, for spending the night without services.

Spaces are not level, but some are acceptable without leveling blocks. Very quiet; we slept excellently. Ideal for visiting the castle and park. Payment by card at the machine, via EasyPark or by scanning the QR code. There should be something for everyone.

Marked motorhome spaces opposite the buses. All are sloped, some only slightly. Expensive overall since there are no services at all, but that is as described. Paying through the app costs a 15% fee, but you receive the receipt by email. Perfect for visiting the palace, park and so on.

Good place for visiting the palaces and gardens. Close to the center. Very quiet at night.

Beware of a fraudulent scheme: We paid properly, so make sure you keep the receipt! After four weeks we received an invoice claiming a €2 parking fee had been incurred and, because we supposedly had not paid it, a €34.90 penalty! Since we no longer had the receipt, we cannot prove anything. Normally a barrier system would warn you. This is calculated rip-off.

Construction containers are on the actual parking area, hence construction noise early in the morning. The motorhomes are now parked among everything else. Be careful when getting out so you are not hit by a bus. Spaces are sloped, with no water or waste services and no electricity, all at outrageous prices—I had to pay €41. The only advantage is the proximity to the park.

The parking fee has changed because of a change of operator. There is now only a daytime rate, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., maximum €15 per day, and a nighttime rate, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., a one-time €3. Because of the 7 a.m. cutoff, a 24-hour stay now easily costs over €20.

Very disappointing; we used to come here regularly and gladly. Unfortunately, when the parking area was reorganized, the motorhome spaces were laid out in the least attractive way possible. Now you stand in the middle, with buses on one side and parked cars on the other. You might as well park on the roadside—it makes hardly any difference. We will probably look for another site.

New! The license plate is automatically recorded on entry, and the parking fee must be paid before leaving by entering the license plate. Payment via FairParken is possible. Prices: 15 minutes free, first hour €3, each additional hour €2, day ticket €15 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., night rate €3 from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Perfect parking for easy access to the enormous and beautiful park and castles. Price has increased , we had to pay €24 for less than 24 hours. (Pay in machine. First hour €3, next hours €2/hour, max €15 daytime, night €3) Workers a bit noisy in early morning. No toilette open after 5 pm.

The parking lot is a great starting point for sightseeing. We parked for free because the system was out of service. The public toilet at the mill costs €0.50.

Very close to the palace and gardens, but a total rip off if you want to spend less than 4hrs here... If you stay exactly 1hr it is 2,50e but if you stay a minute longer it is 4hrs tarif so 10 euros which is ridiculous...

Very quiet parking lot for spending the night and visiting the beautiful city of Potsdam. The place is worth the money.
