Grüntenseestraße 44, 87497, Wertach
Been here?
This quiet gravel motorhome area offers an attractive base beside the lake, with hiking and cycling routes into the surrounding hills and mountains. The current overnight price is 20€ for 24 hours, while electricity and water cost extra; toilets and showers may be unavailable when Buron is closed. There is little shade, but a restaurant, playground, climbing park and barbecue area are nearby.

Nice campsite with a great atmosphere. The only downside is that the toilet facilities are inadequate. With better sanitary facilities, the overall experience would have been even better.
An area with designated, orderly pitches. Only some have a little shade, but I get the impression that it never gets very hot. A swimmable lake a few hundred metres away, though not particularly attractive. Many cycle paths. It is still a pleasant stopover for a night or a couple of days.Translating
A beautiful, quiet gravel site that serves as a good starting point for hiking and cycling tours, but nothing more. The toilets were locked, and water and electricity cost extra. €20 for 24 hours is too much.Translating
A nicely located site. Pleasantly quiet, with evenly spaced electrical hookups. To be honest, though, €20 for 24 hours is quite a lot compared with other places because there are no sanitary facilities, even though they exist; they are only open when Buron is open, which is simply a shame. Of course, everything is getting more expensive, but raising the price from €15 to €20 without any added value for visitors is disappointing.Translating
A parking area near the lake. Probably nothing more. Fine for an overnight stay, and the short hike or walk around the lake was also very nice. Electricity and waste disposal/fresh water facilities available. Conclusion: Maybe we will come again when the piste is open. Otherwise, there are certainly nicer spots.Translating
Nice motorhome site, but €20 for what? Electricity costs extra. Water costs extra. No toilets. No showers. You cannot even collect water from a tap. I do not understand this pricing policy.Translating
What services? No toilets, no showers...Translating
We stayed for one night. Technically, it is not a bad site. Buron was closed due to the season, so there were no toilets—a shame and something that should really be mentioned in the description. €20 is borderline expensive, especially since there are alternatives nearby.Translating
The site is still beautiful. We used to come here often and happily, but €20 now... No thanks, it is no longer worth it to us. What a shame! There are cheaper alternatives in the surrounding area.Translating
We were at this site in April 2025. For €15 plus electricity, it was fine. We wanted to stay there again in March 2026, but then drove on. The site now costs €20 without electricity for one night! Simply overpriced! What a shame!Translating
A great motorhome site with everything you need. We stayed here for three days (€55) and went on some very nice hikes. We explored the beautiful area, from the lake up into the mountains. Many thanks to the operators.Translating
I used to enjoy staying here. Not anymore after the price increase. We drove past the site on Sunday. It was empty... so much for that. What a shame.Translating
The constant complaining about the price is incomprehensible! Especially since the cost is clearly visible everywhere, including in this app ;-) Nobody is forced to stay—you can all drive away, or preferably stay at home! For €20, you get a quiet and safe place. 83 cents per hour should be worth it. We are happy to come back!Translating
The site is perfectly fine for us! Even if some people complain about the price, we are happy to come back because the guest card for two people is included.Translating
Very nicely located, quiet motorhome site. We were there over New Year's. Highly recommended if you are travelling with dogs.Translating
€20!!! Plus paid services. I put in €1 for electricity and had an electric fan heater plugged in; after 30 minutes, there was no credit left. Things are getting crazy in this area, and I think I will not come back. It is becoming a luxury!Translating
The increase to €20 is completely unjustified. It is basically an unlovely parking area; the only advantage is the waste disposal station. In addition, during our visit the lower pitches, farther from the road, were closed. That was definitely the last time...Translating
We used to enjoy coming here, but we were very surprised that it has become so expensive. In spring it still cost €15. A 25% increase for the same service—why???Translating
We used to like coming here. But €20 is too much for this site. Goodbye.Translating
We were regular guests for a long time, but not anymore! The price has risen dramatically, the site is no longer maintained and is just mud. The waste disposal station is blocked. We have a trailer with a car, which means everything occupies one pitch. Now we are supposed to pay extra for the car as well. So we did not unload at all and stayed only one night—and that was the last time!Translating
A price increase of over 30% to €20 is outrageous. I can only agree with the previous speakers. We have also been coming here for years... now probably not anymore. It is a shame that the limit has been exceeded here too and we have to look for somewhere new.Translating
€20 is far too high for this site. Compared with other places in terms of location, facilities, tourist opportunities, and so on, €10–15 would make sense. As a consequence, we will not come here anymore.
Beautiful location, pitches relatively level. Restaurants within walking distance. If €20 is too much for you, please stay at home.
€20 for what, exactly? Outrageous. That is it for us. Pure rip-off.
We have been coming to this site for years. The price used to be €10, then €12.50, then €15—that was already the limit, but now €20 is simply outrageous. We will not come here anymore.
If you do not have a motorhome, you are without a toilet from 5 p.m. to 10 a.m. (the opening hours of the Familypark opposite). If the motorhome area is full—as it was for us at the beginning of August—you park in the equally large area in front. The lake is not particularly clean, and a cyclist from the town advised us not to swim in it. Fine for one night, but this site has nothing else to offer. Very little shade, too.
It has everything you need. Very quiet at night. Certainly at the upper end of the price range, but okay. The electricity posts down by the meadow are currently broken, but that did not bother us. Nice walking path by the lake for dogs.
We have been coming here for many years. In 2020, we still paid €10 for the site; now 24 hours costs €20. That is what I call a substantial price increase, and you also have to pay an extra euro for fresh water. We will not come to this site in the future.
