Lungomare Marina Italiana, 70054, Giovinazzo
Been here?
A shady seaside campsite with children’s areas and most services, but without a gray-water drain. Recent reports describe very loud music from nearby nightclubs, reaching 55-65 decibels in a camper and continuing until around 2:30 in the morning. The campsite costs 30€ for a camper, two people and electricity. The beach and nearby coves are convenient, while recent comments also criticize the sanitary facilities.

Stay away from this “campsite”! Anyone looking for peace and quiet is completely in the wrong place. Two huge nightclubs right next door blast insanely loud music until 2:30 a.m.—sleeping is impossible! The sanitary facilities are appalling: shabby, dirty, moldy containers. Like a bad construction site, but you pay campsite prices. We fled after one night.
On an ordinary Wednesday evening, from 9:30 p.m., the neighboring Satori nightclub starts its weekly “special campers” offer: free disco music measured at 55–65 decibels inside the camper, with powerful bass until 2 a.m. An all-inclusive experience for everyone, free of charge and without opening your windows. No hookup required: the music naturally fills your motorhome!
Everything was very clean. The music was loud, but when you are tired you sleep anyway. Great location. Highly recommended.
Convenient campsite for visiting Giovinazzo on foot, a very beautiful village, and Bari by bus. Bring earplugs because there are nightclubs next door! What a shame. Nearby coves are great for swimming after sightseeing.
Very nice but very loud campsite: loud music from all sides until 3 a.m. The staff are friendly. The price was €30 for a camper plus two people with electricity. Overall, a good place but not the quietest.
Seaside campsite, with spaces bordered by laurel bushes. Clean but very noisy, with a nightclub next door.
Everything is included except grey-water disposal, and for that price, yes, the ground is bone-dry, but it is like that everywhere nearby. And €1 for a hot shower—is that still normal these days? Strangely, electricity, presumably 12 or 16 amps, is included. These two minor points, if I may call them that, keep us from giving five stars.
We spent two nights here and were very satisfied. Very nice people on site, and a clean pitch and sanitary facilities. Cold showers are free; a hot shower costs €1. The hot-water cycle also lasts a long time. The baker comes in the morning between 9 and 9:30. We felt very comfortable.
To add to the previous review, the nightclub also operates on Mondays! Hot showers have increased to €1 and the pitch to €12. Unfortunately, it was the only campsite open on May 12. Avoid it if you have another option; €26 excluding the shower and tourist tax is becoming expensive for not being able to sleep.
Campsite to avoid at all costs on Friday and Saturday nights! Music blasting from a nearby nightclub until 3 a.m.; impossible to sleep. Avoid on weekends.
A dreamlike spot that also invites swimming when the sea is calm. The baker comes in the morning, the staff are very nice, and during the day it is so beautiful that you almost forget the sleepless nights. Unfortunately, the music is genuinely very loud until early morning.
Somewhat basic campsite very close to the sea. There is no sand, only fairly smooth rocks where you can put a lounger or towel. The village of Giovinazzo is very pretty and worth visiting, with a cycle path running through it. At night, several nightclubs are somewhat noisy. We stayed Saturday and Sunday.
Little shade. Payment is inconsistent and without a receipt; sanitary facilities are barely sanitary. Next to the sea and lively bars, so great for swimming, drinks, and going out, but much less suitable for sleeping. There is little choice in the area, but this is certainly not the best.
We got a good pitch under the awning, with electricity included in the price: two people and a van for one night cost €32. The campsite is suitable for one or two nights. The sanitary facilities and showers could be better, but everything is functional. Giovinazzo is a beautiful town, especially the old part. Bari is best reached by train; you can take bicycles on the train. A one-way ticket costs €1.70 per person.
Suitable for only one night and for visiting beautiful Giovinazzo. This year there were no longer any sunshades. Only 6 kW of electrical power, despite our complaints. Grey-water disposal is completely unusable. Music continues until the early hours, and entering the water is impossible even with a slightly rough sea. A high wall prevents the wind from coming in.
The price for staying at this campsite does not match the quality. There is no soap, toilet paper, or trash bins. The shower stalls are dilapidated and moldy, and hot water is not free. There are no amenities in the campsite. On weekends, loud music booms from the nearby disco. The rocky beach is not suitable for swimming.
We were looking for a campsite for a stopover. The toilets and showers were in a container, with mold in the shower. No soap or toilet paper. Rocky “beach” right outside. It was not worth the money to us, so we drove on.
Excellent location: cross the road and you are in a small square with many places to enter the water. Very shady. The only problem is the nightclub next door, which plays music until midnight in the low season and much later in August. €25 in the last days of August for one camper and one person is too much, but that is how things are this year. With wind from the sea, you cannot enter the water anyway.
Probably the worst place I have slept in my life. I tend to fall asleep very easily no matter what, but the music from the club next door was literally vibrating in the van. I never leave bad reviews but I feel that people should know that it is literally impossible to sleep here. Go here if you’re looking to party but avoid at all costs if you’re looking to rest. Music from pub until 2:30hr.
€25 for one night for two people without electricity is a little too expensive, especially since the nearby nightclub means you are forced to sleep only after 2:30 a.m. Hot shower costs €1 in the containers. They do not accept card payments.
Good campsite, showers okay, toilets clean. Very, very loud music from two neighboring bars until 2 a.m.! We are tolerant, but this is disrespectful. Okay for one night.
