6A Am Großen Spreewehr, 03044, Cottbus
Been here?
A free countryside parking area beside a fishing pond, the Spree and nearby cycle paths. The historic Spreewehr mill and an excursion restaurant are next to the site. It is peaceful and suitable for parking, walking and cycling, although the small area can fill with cars. The old town is about 3 km away on foot along the Spree.

The place is really quiet, but we would not actually stay here, at most for parking and taking a walk. When we arrived, the place was full of cars anyway, so the decision was made for us. We drove on.
Thanks to the city for the free parking area with a beautiful walking connection along the Spree to the city center.
Very quiet place. Somewhat secluded, which can mistakenly give you an unsafe feeling.
Peaceful and quiet night.
Nice, quiet parking spot on the edge of a forest. Hiking trails and cycle paths nearby. Small parking area, easy to access.
We were here for one night. We unhitched the caravan and drove to our favorite Italian restaurant, Piemonte. Dog owners and families will enjoy this place. Within walking distance there is a lake, playground, weir, and cozy restaurant. The airfield museum and Fürst Pückler Park/Branitz Palace are nearby—a beautiful, quiet, free place.
Actually a great place in the countryside, completely quiet at night. However, I was plagued by mosquitoes. I also had to leave the windows and doors wide open in the evening because it was so hot. Thanks for listing it.
We were passing through. Perfectly fine for one night. Around 2:30 at night, a teenager wandered over with loud music, but left again after a few minutes. We were alone all night.
