1 Chemin du Passage de l'Étroit, 13650, Meyrargues
Been here?
This spacious, quiet wild spot opposite a Roman aqueduct has several places, some shade and easy access on a paved road. It is suitable for an overnight stay and lies near hiking trails and the aqueduct. Avoid the very narrow castle ascent; the firefighters’ route is easier and vehicles are limited to 3t5.

Perfect. We were alone for one quiet night, with no mosquitoes.
We spent one night there and were the only ones. Wonderful place with very little traffic. Lots of mosquitoes and, unfortunately that night, several nearby dogs barked continuously until 2 a.m., quietened until 8 a.m., then started barking almost continuously again.
Full of mosquitoes. I think the place is lovely out of season, but we could not stay because of them.
Great spot—beautiful, quiet, level, with some shaded areas. We slept well with the doors open. There are several spaces; we were alone. Easy access via a paved road.
An absolutely incredible spot! Away from the town, easy to access, with very little traffic in the evening and none at night. The area is large, with several spaces available. Near a Roman aqueduct and hiking trailheads. It deserves six stars!
Nice quiet place. We had a peaceful night. The police drove past in the evening but simply continued on without saying anything.
Great spot with lots of hikes nearby, beautiful area! Quiet and excellent.
500 m from the centre of Mayrolles, a large grassy area with some shade. View of a mountain on one side and the remains of a Roman aqueduct from the first century BC opposite. Very beautiful spot. A few occasional hikers. We stayed to rest for two days.
Quiet, accessible, perfect with children for one night. The ground is a little rough but level.
Great place; we spent a quiet night there, close to several walks. Easy access for all vehicles and enough space for several vehicles.
Beautiful setting, peaceful, and the starting point for superb hikes. Be careful with the ground; there are some not very visible holes.
Great place, peaceful night. Be careful to avoid the very narrow ascent to the castle, limited to 3.5 tonnes. Go via the fire station instead; access is much easier.
Wonderful little place for a stopover, where you can enjoy peace and quiet! The trees provide nice shade in many places. The access road is very narrow and steep at one point, so it is only suitable for vans at most!
Really pleasant super spot! Plenty of level space and a lovely view. We were not disturbed at all during the night.
Very good spot for sleeping. Quiet place.
