Large parking, tram noise

Large paved parking area without services beside the football fields, level, 1.4 km from the historic center.

I love places like this: quiet, out of the way, yet central. We spent two peaceful nights. Altea is truly beautiful, with the mountains, sea, and picturesque old town.

Very large, paved, and level parking area. We spent one night and, apart from a car doing donuts in the parking lot early on, the rest of the night was very quiet and peaceful. There were about ten motorhomes. Close enough to walk to the center. We recommend eating lobster rice at Pintxos y Punt, 300 m from the parking area.

Perfect place with many campers and plenty of space. It is next to Altea’s sports center. You can reach the old town of Altea with a short walk.

Nice place to visit Altea. The only thing to pay attention to is where you park the camper. Yesterday evening, while we were eating dinner, a very friendly police officer pointed out that our camper occupied two spaces. Obviously, that was fair. He even showed us where we could park. All in all, a perfect place with great hospitality.

We were sent away by the police in the dark because our 7 m motorhome inevitably occupied two spaces. No leniency because it was dark. We then found a gap at the edge of the lot, as shown in picture 4, where many others were parked; the vehicle protrudes toward the rear but faces a wall. That seems to be tolerated more. During the day it is extremely crowded, nowhere near as empty as in the pictures.

Large parking area, 15 minutes’ walk from Altea’s old town. We arrived in the afternoon and easily found a place for our large vehicle (7.80 m). The night was quiet despite the tram passing overhead, and being surrounded by other motorhomes was reassuring.

Ordinary asphalt parking lot. Note that festivities are taking place through Monday, February 9, and parking is not possible.

Good parking for the day . Very spacious And free! Any motorhome can park here ! At least this time of the year is free. We only parked for the day to visit the town

Quiet place; the metro passes overhead but is not very noisy. It is free, and police cars pass by frequently.

Parked here for a few hours in the early evening. There were young people gathering so we decided to move on around 9pm. They are probably harmless but didn’t want to risk a noisy night

Very large and convenient parking area for visiting the city. No services, but it is monitored by video, fairly safe and quiet. A light rail line passes by, but not frequently. Free and with no restrictions.

Secluded parking area but close to the beaches and town center. We did not stay overnight, but it served us well for visiting the city.

Thank you Altea for this parking for RV’s. Within walking distance to the beach and promenade with lots of bars and restaurants. A little shade if you park by the wall. Lots of space for all size RV’s. Placed in my will stay again box. Unfortunately there are no services.

The construction work is finished. Very large, level parking area. We are allowed to park at the back against the wall; of course, putting out tables and chairs is forbidden. No services except bins. It is lit at night. Noise from cars and the train passing over the bridge. Thanks to the municipality.

Very large parking area for motorhomes, half an hour from the center of Altea.

Lots of spaces and lots of campers parked, creating a good atmosphere and a sense of security. Pretty good.

The area is closed because it is being renovated. The surface has been newly paved and most of the ground markings have been completed. I assume the signs and possibly facilities still need to be installed. This may take a few more weeks.
