Pondside free area, potable water unavailable

We had a short night here because we were passing through, but we really enjoyed the peace and quiet. It feels safe, and it is great that this place is made available for campers to spend the night. It looks like a lovely place for a walk.

beautiful spot, very peaceful and quiet overnight. we enjoyed our food sitting at the picnic tables by the pond. electrics (EHU) seem to be working for others (although we didn't need any). waste disposal (vintage) working, but potable water was hors de service. the toilet was a portaloo, with no water, so smelly and with a colony of flies. 4 star for being free of charge in a beautiful location.

Very well-equipped area for vans and motorhomes. Eight excellent stabilized spaces, an electrical service post with four sockets, water and waste disposal. It is also possible to park alongside. Pretty village with shops nearby. Lovely walk in the nearby woods, swimming pool, lagoon and even a charming outdoor restaurant where you can eat without spending too much.

Very nice area, close to a small pond. A road runs right alongside, but there is little traffic during the night.

Well-equipped area in a beautiful location near a pond, starting point for many hiking trails, and free as well. Thank you to the municipality.

Beautiful, peaceful area surrounded by greenery. A pretty pond is immediately nearby. Stabilized pitches are not too close to one another. Water and gray and black-water disposal are available in the neighboring parking area. The water flow is adequate for 10 minutes for €2. One drawback is that there is no shade. It is preferable to arrive fairly early to get a space and an electrical hookup, as there are only four sockets.

Magnificent spot in the middle of nature, with green spaces, a pond and forest, and an 18-minute walk from the village center, where there is a grocery store, bakery, pharmacy, restaurant and abbey. The site is very well maintained. You have to be lucky to find a space, but it is worth trying!

We stopped for a break during a trip south. Excellent, quiet and very well equipped. Thank you to the municipality for offering this type of service. Beware, the area is a victim of its own success: quite busy, so do not arrive too late.

Beautiful motorhome area with space between each pitch. Green surroundings planted with fruit trees. We spent two peaceful nights. We found toilets near the picnic table, hidden behind fir trees. The village is a 15-minute walk via a lovely flat path along the river, or 10 minutes by bicycle.

We stopped here for one night; perfect, clean and quiet. Very busy, so pay attention to what time you arrive. No toilet.

Very busy area; you must not arrive too late if you want a space. Nevertheless, it remains fairly large and very quiet. Unfortunately, we did not find the toilets that are mentioned.

Thanks to the municipality for this free, spacious motorhome area. The pitches are stabilized and clearly marked on the ground. The rural setting with a pond and picnic tables is superb. We were only disturbed by a motorhome driver who wanted to squeeze between two spaces at 11 p.m. Otherwise, a calm and perfect night. Thanks again for this wonderful discovery of your little village.

Beautiful spot, especially for free. Great walking trails, nice and close to the city. The water is not working though. The service says it’s working and it did take payment but would not deliver water. You can dump, but you cannot get fresh water.

A very beautiful parking area with services (paid water and electricity, gray-water disposal) and picnic tables. A construction-site toilet cabin at the back of the parking area. Very pleasant hike through the forest to reach the abbey. Thanks to the town of Nouaillé and the staff who maintain this area.

Thank you to the municipality for this beautiful and pleasant service area. Perfect when you are self-sufficient. Some spaces nevertheless require leveling blocks. Motorhomes over 8 m should reverse well into the spaces so they do not protrude.

Amazing stop we stayed 2 nights really peaceful spot by water historic Abbey about 700m walk through the woods grey waste and fresh water and electricity by card payment highly recommended

Thank you to the municipality for this magnificent area. Small shops nearby should be used to support these welcoming communities. The only drawback is that the water connection is incompatible with existing fittings.

We stopped for lunch and basic services. The place is beautiful beside the pond. The only drawback is that, after paying €2, the fitting needed to fill the water tank is male-to-male, which we did not have and have never used before. A simple tap would have been much better. We left frustrated.

The area is clean and quiet beside a small pond. Thank you to the town hall for making this space available; we also took the opportunity to walk around the village and visit the abbey and local shops. One drawback: the water service post does not work.

Free parking for motorhomes beside a pond. Calm and quiet place. About 12 spaces. Toilets (construction-site toilets) are nearby by the pond, but discreetly hidden behind a square of thuja trees.

Spacious and very quiet area. Free area with extra-cost services (electricity and water). A lake and space to run and play. Hiking route from the parking area itself. The village is a 15-minute walk away: mini-market (closed at lunchtime), pharmacy, bakery and pizzeria. Narrow path along the road but signposted for pedestrians. About 15 minutes by car away there is a Carrefour.
