Via Parco Marinella, 50013, Firenze
Been here?
Large shopping-centre parking with a quiet night atmosphere and nearby shops. Recent incidents include break-ins, damaged locks and smashed windows, especially during the day, so vehicles should not be left unattended. The location is convenient for shopping, including Leroy Merlin.

Warning! We wanted to go shopping and fortunately had lunch beforehand. Suddenly someone knocked loudly on the camper. When we opened, a somewhat older man asked us something in Italian. We then drove on.
Warning! I parked here on Easter Monday to do some shopping. Although it was broad daylight, when we returned we found the lock destroyed. Since they could not get inside, they smashed a window and stole all our bags and backpacks. If you absolutely have to stop here, take turns and make sure at least one person stays in the camper.
Perfect parking area for visiting the Gigli shopping centre.
I spent a quiet night. Next to several truckers who also spent the night
Warning! Never leave the vehicle unattended here. Break-ins and smashed windows happen frequently here, according to an employee of the DIY store. In our case, in broad daylight on 13 November, they unsuccessfully tried to destroy the motorhome locks, smashed the side window, and stole the built-in Chinese sat-nav/radio. The parking area is not under video surveillance. Tip: the DIY store has plexiglass film.
Be very careful! During the day, windows are smashed and vehicles are ransacked in the shopping-centre car park!
Attention!!! Today we parked the camper for an hour around 1 p.m. and we had a break-in. They took an old laptop on which the children watched cartoons and the son's old Samsung. The worst thing is that they damaged the lock on the camper's door. There was an alarm in the camper and they probably got scared because we had more valuable things inside than what they took.
We spent a quiet night at the far end of the shopping-centre car park and took the opportunity to do some shopping, since there is a Leroy Merlin and we needed to make some repairs. Great!
Quiet at night, with many streetlights so we felt safe. The huge area was nearly empty when we arrived. Small rubbish bin nearby; toilets in the large shopping centre.
