5 Am Neuen Wasserwerk, 53359, Rheinbach
Been here?
This off-street parking area is a free overnight alternative, generally level and without through traffic. The medieval town centre, with shops and restaurants, is about 20 minutes away on foot through an underpass. It is beside a little-used railway line, where trains are infrequent and generally quiet. Access is via Keramikerstraße.

Great for visiting the town. Afterwards we went to the other camper site by the park.Translating
A good opportunity to spend the night in a motorhome for free. About a 20-minute walk into town.Translating
Very useful place for a free overnight stay - next to a little used railway line which didn’t bother me at all.
The parking area is accessible again. No train traffic until the end of December. Approach via Keramikerstrasse. Drive to the end of the parking spaces, just before the bridge. It is level and quiet there, with no long-term parkers or small trucks.Translating
Anyone who wants to park among apparently permanently parked cars, minibuses, and trucks on a very steep site will feel at home here.Translating
Do not be put off by the railway line. Hardly any trains pass, and when they do, they are very quiet. The city center with restaurants is a 10-minute walk away. Very quiet surroundings. A good alternative to the parking area at the leisure park, which was completely occupied by cars.Translating
We spent a quiet night there. The train did not bother us. It does not run very often and is not very loud.Translating
