Fenni-Fach Rd, LD3 9AY, Brecon
Been here?
A quiet parking area beside a river and promenade, with tarmac space for campervans, picnic tables, shade, a playground and a water fountain. Parking is paid from 8am to 6pm, free after 6pm, and motorhomes may stay 1 night out of 7. Toilets cost 20p and are locked at night. Brecon town centre is a short walk away, but the approach road is narrow.

Very quiet parking. Free after 6pm until 8am. Toilet 20p locked at night. Busyer car park before this one. Very narrow road in and out.
Perfect for one night: quiet parking with toilets, drinking water, and relative peace. You can swim in the river 100 meters downhill. Picnic tables and shaded areas, children's playground. Close to the town center. Fifteen minutes by car from the trailhead for Pen y Fan. Just what you need!Translating
Spent here one night, even has a water fountain which was a pleasant surprise! Best sleep in UK so far :)
Felt safe and welcoming! Motorhomes and campervans allowed for a night. Along a lovely river and promenade. Short walk into town for dinner and shops. Right next to a good playground and open field. Would recommend to families and those slightly anxious like me.
Great spot free 1 night in 7, please don't park on the grass with rear wheels as this is damaging the area and causing annoyance to close by residents and locals. There is enough space on the tarmac for even XLWB campers. The road in from town is tight in places so wide motorhomes beware!
Great space - just a bit further than the main car park. 4 of us parked up for the free night stay between 6pm-8am Fab spot with field infront for the dogs & lovely short walk along the river into town centre. Toilets are open 24/7 for 20p. I used the app & paid for the next day in advance so didn’t have to be up by 8am. Council came around at 11am to check! Will def use again! Thank you Powys CC
There's a new parking lot being laid just past the toilet block, it's going to be a potential pilot site for Car Park Camping Aires. To be noted the parking charge in the promenade, watton and coach lorry park is now £10 for over 4 hours of parking. it's £5 for up to 2 hours.hopefully the price of the Aire is reasonable and hopefully can still use the watton carpark, as it's being reduced"size"
Great parking spot, quietly located on the edge of town, directly beside a large park. Toilets for 20p. You can walk or cycle comfortably to Brecon along the river. We stayed here with two other campers at the beginning of July; a very quiet night.Translating
A great little spot for the night, the loos are open and the walk in to Brecon is about 10 mins along the river Usk. Thank you for this fab little stop Brecon
Great spot to stay, toilets are open all night for 20p. It was busy but very quiet and plenty of space between campers
Great stop over. Nice and quiet overnight with access to toilets for 20p (cash only no card). Dog walkers in the morning but no issues. Right next to canal to walk in to Brecon and great to be able to walk dog from van. Shame the motorhomes continue to abuse it and park on the grass and not the tarmac as there is plenty of room and overhang for longer vehicles
As others have said, it's free to stay overnight between 6pm and 8am. It's a lovely spot, right on the river with a launch spot for paddleboards, kayaks etc. Nice and quiet once the inconsiderate campers laughing and shouting decided to go in their vans after 12:30am. We would use again and hope to have more considerate neighbours
As said below great park up but let's not loose it due to parking on the grass.
Let not take the P, park on the tarmac not the grass, it's not a campsite and we'll all get stopped, if there's not enough room use the carpark 200m away... SERIOUSLY!?
