2 Via di Vilanceto, 50034, Marradi
Been here?
A free, quiet and well-lit motorhome area above the Marradi swimming pool park, with level pitches close to town. Recent visitors could not obtain the keys needed for the water and electricity, so neither service was available. Grey water is discharged into a manhole, but there is no sewage disposal. Grass cutting, rubbish-bin cleaning and clearer service instructions are needed.

If the grass were cut, the bins cleaned, and instructions posted explaining how to activate the electricity and water at the service posts, it would be five stars.
There is no indication of where or how to obtain the keys for using the service point. So there is no water or electricity. The pitches are nevertheless level and quiet at this time of year.
Thanks to the Marradi council for this great motorhome stop. I recommend everyone visit this town, which is the capital of chestnuts: the Golden Marrone Buono di Marradi (Good Chestnut of Marradi), and the renowned Italian poet Dino Campana. Let’s take a good look around here.
Quiet and peaceful, close to the center. Applause to the municipality.
Excellent, completely free parking with all services. A very friendly and lively town. Thank you to the municipality for this place.
Stayed there for one night. Was fantastic. No other car there. Cool and quiet.
Convenient area for visiting Marradi and the surrounding area. I have stayed here four times; once there happened to be a pool party, so there was a steady stream of young people and cars with loud music until late. It happens occasionally—earplugs solved the problem. Spacious pitches. Free service point; I think the black-water drainage goes into the same drain, but nothing is signposted. I gave only four stars because the card system is inconvenient.
We are here all alone with our friends. It is really beautiful; we are currently watching the fireflies dance. It is truly wonderful, like being in a club with a disco. In any case, it is a great place for one night. Unfortunately, the swimming pool below is currently closed. Otherwise, very good. We did not use electricity, so I cannot say whether it works.
Very quiet, suitable for an overnight stop. Alone but not stressful; we felt safe. The police came by once to check that everything was fine. The mayor did too. Just a car park with bins. Sufficient for spending the night or resting. I recommend it.
We slept without any problems. We ate at a very good pizzeria in the village, Gli Allochi.
Very beautiful and peaceful place. Very clean area. There are four ways to request the keys for electricity at shops in the town. The service point is not signposted, but it is there. The town is a short walk away, with small shops and several things to see: a theater, historic residence, and chestnut museum.
Nobody knows where the drainage point is. There are electricity pedestals but no information on how to use them. In the afternoon and evening, cars come and go using the parking area as a driving school, and many young people hang around and chat loudly until late. Not pleasant if you want to rest. No supervision. What a shame.
Basically a nicely located place with a great view of the mountains. We did not use the facilities. From the afternoon onward, young people frequently arrived to quietly wind down after work with joints and/or beer. But after 11 p.m., six cars with teenagers arrived; they played football and listened to music in the parking area. We left again at 11:30 p.m.
