25 Donau Bundesstraße, 3671, Marbach an der Donau
Been here?
Small, well-maintained campsite directly on the Danube and beside the cycle path, with large pitches and clean sanitary facilities. A pizzeria is directly opposite, and the area is suitable for cycling, hiking and trips around the Wachau. One report quoted 38€ for 2 people including the local tax, with electricity charged at a flat 5€. A railway line is audible, while nearby road noise was described as not bothersome.

Great campsite on the banks of the Danube. The lady at reception was very pleasant. The sanitary facilities were exceptionally clean. Even with the road next to it, it was not bothersome.
It is true that the railway line opposite can be heard, but the owner’s loving care of everything on this very cozy site makes up for it. The cruise ships provide quite a spectacle. We had fun for four days and saw a lot of the surrounding area: the pilgrimage site of Maria Taferl and Pöchlarn, full of life, and the Kokoschka Museum.
Very loud on the main road. Railway line as well. Who can relax here? Completely uninteresting for families.
Beautiful small campsite on the Danube, clean and quiet sanitary facilities, view of the Danube. Good pizzeria directly opposite. The only negative is that departure is requested by 10 a.m. (!)—practically the middle of the night. Fortunately, this was not enforced strictly. Therefore, a top site!
We liked it here very much. We will definitely come back. I can highly recommend this campsite.
Beautiful small site. Very friendly. Nice, clean toilet and shower. Great place.
Beautiful small campsite, sanitary facilities and showers very clean. With ACSI, €27 per day, plus free choice of pitch €2 per day, tourist tax €2.60 per day/person, plus extra electricity consumption at €0.90 per kWh. Disadvantage: unfortunately no peace and quiet due to the road and train, even at night.
Very idyllic site. The owner is also extremely nice. Highly recommended overall.
Very beautiful site with large pitches. Directly on the Danube. The sanitary building is nice and clean. Camper with two people, including the municipal tax, costs €38. Electricity is charged at a flat rate of €5, not €0.90/kW as described.

Located on the cycle path, with a view of the Danube, spacious pitches, clean bathrooms, and everything very well maintained. Close to the road. Very friendly staff. Railway station 10 km away.
Uncomplicated campsite, accepts ACSI; we spent a quiet night.

Our first camping destination for one night—and we liked it! Booked a few days in advance and received a nice reservation with a name sign, as reception was only staffed in the evening. Super nice receptionist, friendly neighbors, naturally many staying only one night on their way to Lake Balaton. We liked it; the often-mentioned noise from the road, trains, and ships was completely negligible and not disturbing!
Very nice site; the entrance is somewhat hidden but very easy to reach. The road and train can be heard, but the friendliness and cleanliness more than make up for it. Absolutely recommended—and very hot water, too.
Beautiful campsite directly on the Danube, very friendly, very clean sanitary facilities. The road and railway can be heard but are okay. Lovely area; by bike, Melk is about 1 hour away and Ybbs about 35 minutes. Highly recommended; two nights with electricity for two adults cost around €80.
From June 2 to 5, 2024. Lovely little campsite on the banks of the Danube, beside the cycle path. Friendly welcome. Good homemade jams made by the owner.
Nice small campsite. Very friendly welcome, sanitary facilities very clean. However, quite noisy due to the road next to it and the railway line on the other side of the Danube. The train seems to run every five minutes. Passing ships can also be heard clearly.

Very beautiful campsite with a great view of the Danube. The owner is very friendly and uncomplicated. Bread service in the morning, wine for sale. Due to its location next to the main road and railway line on the opposite bank of the Danube, it is somewhat noisy, but it was okay at night. Nice cycling routes are possible.
Good place on the Danube for one night. The site was still closed when we were there. Nevertheless, for €10 there was an option to park nicely in front of it. The owner was very friendly and even offered us electricity.
Stayed here at the end of April in a converted Berlingo. With a 4-year-old child, we were delighted to have toilets nearby and the beach just steps away. For the night, we parked toward the back of the lot, which was very quiet. No barrier at this time of year, completely free.
