A roadside parking place on a quieter road, with a rubbish bin and some traffic noise. Cars still occasionally pass, and the location is close to the road, so safety requires care. Traffic is heavier during the day, evening and school-bus periods, but usually quiet after about 10pm; walking paths and a view of the Ouse River bridge are nearby.

Decent place for a night if the campsites are booked up. Although it’s a quiet road, cars do still occasionally come down it. My only gripe is that you’re pretty much parked on the road so safety is something to consider. I parked up on the curb to tuck out the way as much as possible.
Nice parking space for a break or overnight. Traffic noise during the day and evening, but quiet after 10pm or so. Great walking paths in Airmyn and a nice view of the Ouse River bridge. This is also used as a school bus stop mornings and afternoons so some extra traffic during those times.
