Lakeside parking, train noise

Suitable only for vehicles under 5.50 meters. This is checked. Above all, not wider than 2.10 meters, as it is quite narrow. Very full in good beach weather; it empties out from 7 p.m. Otherwise very nice; the train is not a nuisance.

Paid parking, CHF 5 per 24 hours. Very quiet, next to a jetty and a swimming area on the lake. Relatively level spaces.

Easy to pay at machine by card if no Swiss francs -super place -motor homes may be too big but our 7m crafter fitted into 1 of the 2 super long places -very quiet and loads of spaces . toilets open in sailing club 24 hrs. Short walk to swimming area by lake and a bar ( shuts at 7). Absolutely glorious views -this is one of the best P4N stopovers ever ! Police did check we had paid -get receipt

The beach resort was closed, so there were few people around. Otherwise it is probably very full until evening. The police checked around 8 p.m. To be safe, print out the parking ticket and leave it visible, even though you do not have to. Special characters such as Ä, Ü, and Ö in the license plate cannot be entered, and we almost received a ticket even though we had paid.

easy to park out small van. we were not disturbed and had a quiet night here. Right by the waters edge and toilets open all evening.

As described. With a large motorhome, it is tight during the day in good weather and during the swimming season. It gets better from around 6 p.m. About a 10-minute walk away is a cool beach bar, Hirsis Seelounge, with good food and a free hot shower next door. Be sure to pay the CHF 5 for 24 hours. Thanks to the municipality of Cham for this parking option!

Great area for swimming, with a lake and children's pools, washing, cycling, BMX, beach volleyball, and table tennis. Not many spaces for large motorhomes; better for vans. The complex is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., but the parking area and toilets are open all the time. €1 per hour, €5 for 24 hours. One star deducted because it is beside the railway and many trains pass during the night.

Very good for spending the night.

We spent a very pleasant, quiet night here while passing through and had the entire parking area to ourselves. The €5 parking fee was easy to pay contactlessly. Even with a 7.5-meter motorhome, it was easy to park in reverse, with the overhang extending over a beautiful flower meadow.

It’s a parking , but it’s a cool one ! You can go walking around the lake , sit on the bench and watch the lake with all the boats .. there’s very clean toilets and it’s close to the center . It’s 5€ for 24hours - a very cool spot

Interesting for one night because of the nearby toilets. The railway station is also close. Access to the lake is very limited and there is little of interest within walking distance. Recommended for a short stop.
