Camping Les 4 Arpents

Unfortunately, only for long-term campers. We were turned away.

I can only agree with the previous reviewers. The campsite thrives on the owner's warmth. If you're looking for a stylish campsite, keep driving. If you're looking for a friendly, inexpensive place with everything you need, this is the right place.

Contacting them by phone was very friendly and straightforward. We were still able to get a pitch for the same day. The washroom is showing its age but was very clean. The only drawback was that it was very noisy. In one night we heard planes, trains, ships, cars and a helicopter. It was fine for one night and the price-performance ratio is good.

As cyclists travelling through, we had everything we needed. Everything is basic but very well maintained and clean. The long-term campers working there were very friendly and also very quiet and peaceful. Special thanks to the warm-hearted owner Vincent, who is exceptionally helpful! We spontaneously stayed another night because we felt really comfortable.

Passing through Paris for the Olympic Games, we were given a very warm welcome by Vincent, our host. The atmosphere is family-oriented and the price very reasonable. You can call ahead to make sure you have a pitch. Supplies are available at Carrefour Market, a 20-minute walk away. It was also there that we were able to rent a Clio to get to Paris.

Very warm hosts; we truly felt welcome here. Although the campsite has minimal facilities, it was completely sufficient for one night. We would gladly come again!

There are two campsites next to each other here. We stayed at Les 4 Arpents. It is really intended only for long-term campers. Nevertheless, we were able to spend the night there and had a hot shower. We paid €19 per night.

€30 per night with electricity—undoubtedly the result of inflation. It is true that year-round campsites are not exactly plentiful in the region.

We had a pitch at the front, unfortunately very noisy because of the traffic from workers who live on the site and drive to work early in the morning. A lot of aircraft and train noise. It was okay for one night. Showers are available. The pitch for a roof tent cost €20 without electricity.

3 days, 2 adults, 3 children, plus caravan: €50 including electricity, water, showers and toilets... the closest place for visiting Paris, one hour from Disneyland.
