Monastery parking, morning bells

The parking area is at the end of the road leading to the site. Although we did not spend the night there, the possibility of doing so is a positive. We did not use the monastery's services, so we do not know what they are like. It is worth noting that the monastery is undergoing renovations and, if you want to see the church, it is full of materials. Once restored, it should be very beautiful. The nuns were very kind.

Saturday evening was completely quiet; we had a great evening there and a very peaceful night until we were woken in the morning by very loud church bells… But that is to be expected in front of a monastery.

Quiet and peaceful (apart from a few Jackel choruses, which seem to be everywhere now). Nice to be able to relax in a tarmac carpark fairly near to a big town on a Friday night and know that you won't be disturbed by disco cars). Thank you to the kind and friendly nuns for a night of sanctuary. Although free, why not visit the church and make a donation for your gratitude.

If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the right place. Obviously, there are no services. A large supermarket is a few kilometers away.

The parking area is at the end of a dead-end road by the monastery. No facilities except divine drinking water. We were alone last night—Silent Night. Coincidentally, white smoke had just emerged from the chimney. Leo IV is the new pope. In the morning there was a shepherd with 12 sheep that liked old bread.

Quiet place, clean, safe, surrounded by nature.
