Lake-view parking, large vans struggle

Beautiful view of Lake Como. Fortunately, we found a space in the middle of August and in the middle of the night. The road is a little noisy at night, but it is manageable. In the morning, a maintenance worker came to collect the rubbish but did not say anything to us. A junkie also came very early and played music loudly without caring about the vans next to him, so we sent him away—very politely.

Great night in a van with a rooftop tent! Nobody around us in April, and the place was very quiet. Excellent view for sunset. However, I think it would be difficult to turn around in a large motorhome.

The view is very beautiful and there are benches, but that is all. No privacy. On Friday evening there is music and a party, so we went to sleep 500 meters lower down, which was much better! Be careful, the road to get there is winding.

Small parking area with a rather nice view. We slept there for one night in a rooftop tent and it was fine.

Very good spot with a beautiful view, but very few parking spaces, so you are often parked close to others, which is less pleasant for privacy. Otherwise, I recommend it. Some traffic during the night and dog noise. Lighting, benches and a table available.

Great view, but unfortunately too busy! The spaces are small and some people do not hesitate to park right next to you. We left because of the inconsiderate behavior of some visitors.

Beautiful view with a table and bench for relaxing. However, because of access to the residence, cars frequently drive directly past the parking area. The lighting is also very bright, which bothered us a little.

Very good spot despite the storm. Very quiet with very little traffic. You can walk to the lake via the paths. Not suitable for anything larger than an L1H1. Driving back down was difficult with our L2H1 because of the hairpin road.

Excellent location. Very beautiful view. Easily manageable with a Sprinter. Quiet and space for five cars. There is also a lovely bench.

Very beautiful place, also a good starting point for lovely hikes. Apart from one local resident who threatened to call the police and said camping was forbidden because there were no parking spaces left, we had a quiet night there. The police never came, and camping is not forbidden there. :D

Great spot above Varenna. Very quiet, with birds singing. Superb view, with a table and bench beside it.

Lovely spot with nice views of the lake, up a very windy road so take your time. Only glass bottle waste recycling, but you pass another waste disposal on your way down.

Perfect for sleeping, with some passing traffic. To visit Varenna, you need to drive. Narrow road but manageable with a 6-meter van.
