Been here?
This parking area offers a beautiful view from the hiking trail and has flat ground and a rubbish bin. There is no shade, little protection from wind, and some road noise, although the road usually becomes quieter at night. Occasional cars may stop until 23:00, and frequent vehicle activity has made the place feel unsafe for some overnight stays. It can be closed during periods of summer fire risk; when open, it is suitable for overnight parking.

A magnificent spot with a fantastic view. Highly recommended. On May 14, we slept there with seven other campers. No problem with our 7-meter camper. There was quite a lot of wind that night, force 5, but fortunately we were somewhat sheltered. Garbage bin available.
Very nice for the night. However, you can hear the road a little and there is no shade.
Magnificent place: beautiful view, completely flat ground, bins, and fairly quiet. Only poorly sheltered from the wind, which bothered us a little during our night when there were 60 km/h gusts. Apart from this unusual situation, I would definitely recommend it! Beautiful sunrise as a bonus! PS: A 7.5-meter-long motorhome fit, with no height limit.
Great spot this season, a quiet night but with some traffic, which dies down at night. Very beautiful view!
We stayed here for one night. Great view in the morning. In the evening, until about 11 p.m., individual cars with young people occasionally stopped. They were very quiet: no music, loud conversations, or anything else. We felt safe, and the night was peaceful. Bumpy road, but manageable with a 5.5-meter van.
Beautiful place, with a lovely view over the valley and the sea. However, I left again after at least 15 cars stopped within an hour, five times someone urinated right in front of me, and a few suspicious people arrived in modified cars. As a woman alone, I did not feel safe enough and left.
I am outraged that people rate this spot so poorly simply because it was closed during the summer period. We are from Aude, and our department burned like never before this year. You should be glad that places like this are preserved during critical periods, because they are magnificent.
Beautiful place to sleep.
Place with a fantastic view. Quiet night at the end of October, alone in the parking area. Small walks start here. Excellent!
Pulled in here today. Now open. Amazing view. No facilities.
The place and views are great; unfortunately, it is closed until the fire risk has passed.
In the middle of July, the road was closed because of fire risk, making it impossible to park.
Warning: currently there is no access, presumably because of the risk of forest fires. Unfortunately! We would have liked to stay here.
The view is amazing. A motorhome was parked a few meters down the road; apart from that, we were alone. In the evening, many locals come to enjoy the sunset. The sunrise was amazing, as described. The worst thing is the VERY strong wind.
Very windy, as is typical for the region, but a very beautiful view and no problem.
Despite the last comment being rather worrying, we spent an uneventful night. The viewpoint is magnificent, with a beautiful sunrise over the sea. However, beware of road noise: the road is very busy, even late into the night. There are small bins at the spot. Hiking trails and pleasant short walks start here.
On January 24, 2024, we spent one night here on our way back from Spain. The location is truly fantastic, but unfortunately there was an attempted break-in during the night, at around 5 a.m. We managed to scare the person away, but he had already damaged the lock on our motorhome door. Please be appropriately careful.
