Lake parking, overnight banned

Unfortunately, because of the antisocial behavior of certain people—damage, rubbish, cans, syringes, condoms and baby diapers left everywhere even though there is a rubbish container—the town hall has prohibited swimming, fires, etc., as well as overnight parking for all vehicles by prefectural order. A superb place. The lake is clean with beautiful clear water. Ideal if you want to swim, and dogs are welcome. If you are in the area, it is important to take care of this beautiful nature that welcomes us. Special mention to Moustache, who was very friendly and gave us good suggestions for the rest of our adventure.✦Translating

I live next to this beautiful little lake and walk my dog there every day. Unfortunately, following some damage and people leaving beer cans everywhere and no longer respecting nature, barriers have been installed and the police ask the “party-van people, without prejudice on my part” to leave quickly. Nice little lake. Small parking area with trees. Not suitable for larger campers. Local fishermen. Pleasant walk around the lake. Noise from the TGV train. Only a rubbish container. Clear water, great for swimming. After I wrote this, the police came and we had to leave for another spot 1.5 km farther away, also by a lake but commercial.✦Translating

Very noisy because of the TGV trains; our vanlife neighbors shouted and drank all night (until 5 a.m.), the busy road and public works made it difficult to have a worse night. The little lake is charming, but the rubbish scattered on the ground and in the ditches suggests we are heading toward southern France.✦Translating
