D41E2 Impasse de l Ecluse, 24110, Saint-Léon-sur-l'Isle
Been here?
Free riverside parking with picnic tables, skate park, and access to a greenway cycle path toward Périgueux. Very calm overnight spot suitable for one to two nights; flood risk exists during heavy rain since the lot is at river level. Water supply closes November 1–March 31. Waste emptying (free) is available in town, and a Thursday market runs in nearby Saint Astier.

Quiet and beautiful! Great for one or two nights. There were two other campers. In the morning, there is a lovely walk along the river and through the town.Translating
A quiet place to sleep or stop. In my opinion, much better than sleeping in the water filling and emptying area, which is also marked.Translating
Go to the Saint-Astier market on Thursday morning. A typical local market with local producers.Translating
Great parking near the Isle River. Ideally located. Waste disposal is in the town center. Both the parking and disposal facilities are free.Translating
Great parking with picnic tables, a skate park, and a walking path, but beware in rainy weather: it can flood because it is at river level. It is unusable today because it flooded after the heavy rain this weekend.Translating
Quiet place right by the river. We spent one night here with only one other camper. The surroundings are clean.Translating
Great for one night. The road is not bothersome. Very idyllic.Translating
Very pleasant place for a stopover. Skate park nearby. On the other side of the bridge you will find the Biscuits Billeau shop, featuring local specialties.Translating
The parking lot is in a very idyllic location by the river. Behind it there is some woodland with a small walking trail, perfect for one night, especially with a dog. There are even picnic areas on the meadow. We felt very safe and found the place nicer than the free pitch in town.Translating
Quiet, near the greenway toward Périgueux. Hiking trailhead. Service area closed from November to March. Thank you to the municipality. Keep this site clean.Translating
Excellent for one night.Translating
Stayed for a night when traveling through France. Very calm. Small village close by.Translating
Quiet place, ideal for spending the night. The facilities are a little farther away toward the town center; the service point is on the left.Translating
Quiet pitch with a swimming area, seating, and a skate park. There is a beautiful circular route for walking or jogging. Good access from the road!Translating
Very nice! Picnic tables, bins, and an exercise trail. The bridge is not very busy. The water point next to the skate park has been closed, but there is a free service area nearby with wastewater and fresh water.Translating
Pretty and relaxing, a bucolic place. Waste disposal 300 meters away. Nothing to complain about, perfect welcome, and many thanks to the municipality.Translating
Quiet and peaceful parking, at least during this period. There were some walkers, but it remains acceptable and normal for such a beautiful place. No water point, just a small tap near the skate park. There is plenty of space. Pleasant location.Translating
