45110, Châteauneuf-sur-Loire
Been here?
A spacious, peaceful nature spot between a pond and the Loire River, with several level parking areas. The access road is narrow and agricultural, with many large potholes, so drive slowly. Recent visits confirm access for campervans and camping cars. Frogs can be noisy at night, while joggers, cyclists and dog walkers may pass occasionally.

We had a very good night. Plenty of space to park several vehicles if necessary.
Lovely place beside the Loire. Several spots along the path. The access road is agricultural, with many potholes. Drive slowly and it is easy enough. We recommend it; we had a really good night.
A superb spot! Nice, flat spaces surrounded by water. The access is relatively narrow, though. Note: the pond is full of quite noisy frogs. Unfortunately, we were unlucky and fireworks were set off right next to us during the night.
Very quiet and secluded space, with plenty of options of where to park. As mentioned, you have to follow a path down from the village, also ensure you take it slow on the path there, the potholes are big. I recommend a 4x4 or strong camper. So far so good, all I hear is nature. As always, stay safe and know your bearings.
The direct road to get there is closed by a barrier. You have to take a small road through Châteauneuf to access it. Otherwise, the site is very pleasant. It is a shame that some people come here to drink and leave their beer packs and empty bottles behind.
The road there is somewhat bumpy but passable slowly. You are between a lake and the Loire River, which is visible beyond a hedge. Very quiet; only two joggers passed by. The spot is in a meadow but level. The sunset over the Loire is wonderful.
Very pleasant place and completely accessible by motorhome.
Great place. A few joggers, cyclists, and dogs swimming in the morning and evening, but nothing disturbing. A wonderfully quiet night without problems.
