12 Via Faul, 01100, Viterbo
Been here?
This free parking area is close to Viterbo’s historic centre, with a nearby elevator, cafés and a pizzeria across the street. It is a car park with narrow, short spaces and metal barriers, so it suits short vans better than larger motorhomes. Finding a place can be difficult during the day, although it usually becomes easier towards evening. Traffic from the nearby large road can be noisy, while nights have also been described as quiet.

Free and very well located. Plenty of space for a van at the end of May. Large, busy parking area and a major road, so inevitably there is traffic noise, but with earplugs it is not a problem. The pizzeria across the road is good and has a lovely terrace.
easy to find a space at 2pm on a Friday in March. felt safe and v convenient to look round this amazing town
Excellent parking for visiting the city. You should bear in mind that during the day it is almost entirely occupied by cars, while toward evening it clears and with patience you can find a space. Ground markings made of metal strips make it fairly narrow for motorhomes, and in many places there are metal barriers preventing the overhang from extending onto the grass. On Wednesday evening, a group of young people sang freestyle.
It is all time full! About impossible finding a free space.
Large, open parking area near the city. Quiet at night.
Large parking area at the foot of Viterbo's historic center, conveniently accessible via the nearby elevator. A little difficult to find a space on public holidays.
This is a car park designed for cars. The spaces are not suitable for motorhomes because they are not wide enough and, above all, too short. Suitable for short vans or converted vans.
Large free parking area for all vehicle sizes. Just below the historic center, a stone's throw from an elevator that takes you up to the center. Great. Nothing to report.
There is currently a fair 50 m away. The parking area is therefore very full and noisy. We had to drive on.
Very convenient for visiting the city. If you're lucky, you may even find a spot in the shade.
Very well located for visiting this extraordinary city, which deserves at least two full days. I did not sleep there, just stopped during the day, but I will gladly return.
Large, free, clean and level parking area. Excellent for visiting the town of the Popes. However, it is a car park, and you need to arrive fairly early in the morning, no later than 10; after that it is difficult to find a space. We did not sleep there, as it is too close to the road.
Very nicely located close to the center. You have to arrive in the evening/night or before 8:30 in the morning to get a good spot for a 7.00 m vehicle. It is worth it. Viterbo's old town is beautiful.
Good place—a large, active parking area with a wonderful view of the castle, very convenient for visiting the historic center (there is an elevator nearby to go up the hill). No noise disturbed our sleep :)
The parking area may be large and quiet, but arriving on Saturday afternoon, we managed to park only because our vehicle was 6 m long and had a short wheelbase; otherwise it would have been impossible to find a free space. Very convenient for visiting the city, with elevators very close by.
Great place. Large, offers both sun and shade, close to the old centre.
We spent a quiet night. Some young people were laughing, but they had left by around 11 p.m. There are cameras and it is very close to the historic center. Recommended.
Hello. Perfect if you can find a space... An elevator takes you up to the magnificent old town, which must not have changed much over several hundred years. There is a half-buried giant next to it. Splendid. vroooom.
We left the van here to visit the city. Just above, a 5-minute walk away, there is the tourist information office, and in about an hour and a half you can see the most important parts of the historic center. We then spent the night with a bit of noise, but overall it was fine.
Very well-located parking for visiting the city, quiet at night; from 8 a.m. onward quite a few cars come to park. Indeed, you should not have a large motorhome.
Mixed car parking, near the elevator for visiting the city. If it is crowded with cars, maneuvering is difficult. Suitable for converted vans. Viterbo is nothing special.
Excellent place for visiting the city, which I recommend; very beautiful and historic. Quiet night, with an elevator nearby to go up. No services; motorhomes may stay.
Unsafe place. Someone circled around us for a while and we decided to leave. A lot of car noise. Not peaceful at all.
Clean parking area and, above all, only 50 m from the elevator leading to the historic center. We spent the night there and felt safe because it was lit. From 7:30 a.m. there is car traffic, but it was not disturbing, hence the rating.
Excellent for visiting because of its proximity to the elevators leading to the center. A little crowded; occupying two car spaces does not seem to be a problem. I would not stay there overnight, mainly because of the neglect in the city.
