As a true Hamburger: the place is not dangerous at all, since the drug addicts absolutely do nothing. The neighborhood is also not dangerous at all, but disgusting. You can park very safely throughout the neighborhood; in many years, my car has never been broken into and nothing bad has ever happened to me there. It is just a parking lot.
This neighborhood has become a gathering place for large numbers of drug addicts and one of the most dangerous areas of the city. I would not risk going there.
