Wooded riverside, gates closed

Wonderful place beside the Sèvre! Completely shaded and therefore very pleasant. Space for two vehicles, with another possible spot farther along the path, but that one is in full sun. The only negative point is rubbish left by previous campers, such as a cloth, toilet paper, and cigarette butts. We cleaned it up, but it is sad that not everyone respects the place.✦Translating

The best spot we have visited! Access is indeed quite difficult, uphill with some potholes, but once you get down there, you do not regret it. We reached it in a converted Citroën C3 without problems, taking care. We had a great night. The train only passed in the morning and the noise was not bothersome; the waterfall is louder.✦Translating

Dead-end road for vehicles but with several places to stop. We were alone. A spectacular site.✦Translating

The GPS gave us incorrect information for getting there, directing us along a route with access blocked by a gate. We eventually found another entrance. Magnificent place. Difficult access with our motorhome of almost 7 meters. We would do it again with friends.✦Translating

We spent a quiet night; only two trains passed overhead. The only drawback is the very steep access—we had to remove the bike rack to climb back up with our van. There are a few fishermen and hikers, but it remains very quiet. I recommend it.✦Translating

Accessible by car. Idyllic setting; we recommend going there. No noise, encounters with locals, and walking possible—Hucheloup is recommended. Warning: the GPS location is incorrect. Continue to the end of the hamlet on the main road, then, once you reach the dirt track, the spot is about 500 meters on the right.✦Translating

Only suitable for a small van or 4x4. Access is narrow, steep, and muddy in winter, and the TER train passes every hour on the viaduct above us. Do not attempt it with a large vehicle. Otherwise, it is beautiful.✦Translating

Access road blocked by a fallen tree. The access is very narrow and steep, making it impossible to turn around; we had to reverse uphill, and it is very steep. I lost traction several times in dry weather, then had to reverse 600 meters through the hamlet before I could turn around. All this in a small van.✦Translating

Amazing spot! it is true the access is a little difficult. we got in with a compact camper 5.5m but nothing bigger would make it. Please anyone that comes here don't leave toilet paper around... if you are travelling in a smaller van or car you should still have a toilet.✦Translating
