Unnamed Road, 15190, Montboudif
Been here?
A remote spot on a paved forest road, with several possible locations and a large square at the end beside the river. The area is surrounded by nature, but recent stays have reported many insects and a procession of noisy vehicles at night. The road is steep in places, and there is no telephone or internet network.

Place infested with insects. At night it is a procession of noisy vehicles. We went to the Organs, where the night is much quieter and the spot is magnificent.Translating
We arrived easily, but there is a real swarm of flies—only at this time of year, perhaps? There is an old forest shelter right next to it, rather creepy and unsettling. Even when going back down, we were pursued by the flies. We did not stay.Translating
Perfect place at the end of the world, in the middle of nature. A man from the National Forestry Office came to ask us the name of the app. He seemed somewhat fed up with the number of people and the remains of a fire on site.Translating
Do not hesitate to go all the way to the end of the path: a very large turning area between the forest and the river, with plenty of room for several vehicles to turn around without difficulty. Steep, but passable even with an old non-turbo 68 hp, 3-ton motorhome. No phone or internet signal. A volunteer forestry ranger came to see us; overnight stays are tolerated without any problem as long as the site is respected.Translating
Thanks to Jeremypajak for sharing this information, because the road is not easy to find. Thanks to the forestry service or the municipality for leaving the small cabin open—it has a table, chairs and a fireplace. To reach the river, you need a vehicle that climbs well because there are some steep sections. I did not stay because I need mobile coverage, and there is none here. The insects are also overwhelming.Translating
