Caminho da Arda, 4900-012, Afife
Been here?
A large grassy parking area beside a beautiful ocean beach, with a walkway, picnic bench, beach bar and daytime toilets. It is popular with surfers, while swimming can be rough because of the waves. The area is busier during the day and often quiet at night, although music has occasionally continued overnight. No parking restrictions are currently indicated.

Large grassy parking area made available to visitors. No restrictions indicated. By the sea, with a small beach bar. Unfortunately, there was music that night.
Unfortunately, many people pass through here without any respect for the natural heritage, treating this parking lot like a wild campsite, with awnings open and tables and chairs in "their" patios. This behavior is more common in vans and cars without the proper conditions for sustainable tourism. I'm tired of seeing people from these vehicles urinating and defecating in the midle of hedges .
This place is a jewel; keep it clean and free of your footprints!
Only three vehicles at the end of May! On grass. A footbridge leads to the ocean. Nice bench for a picnic with an ocean view. Magnificent beach. Excellent.
We stayed here two nights, after having spent one night in the site just 100 meters north, as this place was bigger and had more sun. Lovely beach, WC or bar not open yet, but there were bins. No signs saying campers not allowed or allowed
No parking anymore. GNR sends everybody away and checks every night.
A really quiet and large place to spend the night once the daytime visitors have left.
Very spacious pitches. Busier during the day, wonderfully quiet at night. A few other campers are there too. I felt very safe here and had no problems.
Great spot. We arrived on August 15 at 4 p.m. and there was still room in the parking lot. Large hard-packed dirt area, beach showers and toilets, with toilets open only during the day. Small beach bar. The beach has quite a few waves, but it is calmer to the left beyond the rocks. Very, very quiet at night and also during the day. Quite a few other campers, but room for everyone.
Good area for spending the night, or even more than one. Beach showers, acceptable daytime toilets, and rubbish containers. Quite a large beach parking area. Very beautiful beach, ideal for surfers.
Super spot with plenty of other campers but enough space for everyone. Plenty of shaded spots and feels very safe
Perfect place for a few days, toilets are nice and clean and open from 9am - 7pm. Surf shop and beach bar here as well! The beach is better for surfing than swimming and can be a bit rough but it’s beautiful to lie on all day! The police came through at night which is good, it feels safe and there are plenty of campers around without being too crowded. Loved it here!
Very, very nice place; we stayed several days. Showers and taps are directly at the parking area, but the toilets were closed. The water from the taps is drinkable; it tastes slightly of chlorine but is fine. The GNR also stopped by but was not interested in the motorhomes.
Perfect, quiet place with direct access to the sea.
A very beautiful and quiet place with toilets that are open only during the summer season, showers that work all year, recycling containers, and a beach bar that opens only from June to September. Paved and sandy ground with grassy areas. It is somewhat spacious but not very large; when we visited there were more than 14 campers and little privacy.
Beautiful wild beach, easy and level parking. Super quiet night.
Very good place. Many level parking areas. Beach next door and walks along a nature trail. It fills up with people in summer.
Great spot with a sea view; we are in a heavy vehicle, so we are higher up. Many walkers during the day and surfers early in the morning, unfortunately not always discreet. Very pleasant walk along the beach. Quiet night.
Very accessible for disabled people until you reach the top, where the café is; from there, there are stairs down to the beach. The toilets were closed. Very nice beach and lovely views.
Quiet parking area, except for dogs barking. Toilets not open when we were there. Recycling and rubbish bins, but some were overflowing. Quite a few walkers passing through. Seemed like quite a number of longer term ‘stayers’ are here. Close to beach.
Very busy during the day because of the beach. Super quiet nights. Please do not set up tents. Easy access to the beach. Toilet and outdoor shower open during the day. No motorhome services.
Very nice place to spend the night; toilets open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Beach very close.
Strongly recommended. I passed 3 days in July and really would have stayed more! There are bathrooms and showers (all super clean). Everyone is ver respectful at the parking and the beach is stunning and perfect to catch some waves
Excellent location directly behind the dunes of a great beach. Many thanks to the municipality for tolerating overnight stays here!
The beach is wonderful and there is plenty of space to park and spend the night. Showers nearby.
Great spot, directly behind the dunes. Enough space for everyone; we stayed three days. Public toilets are open from morning until evening and are clean. Perfect spot for surfers. We recommend staying in the third or fourth lane to avoid daytime visitor traffic.
Quiet place to spend the night with enough room for motorhomes and vans. The ground is level and it is very close to the beach, which has a small bar, four showers, and three toilets, one accessible for people with reduced mobility. The beach has waves for surfing and lifeguards. There are four types of rubbish containers. The police came by once at night and said nothing.
Great, and somewhat better protected from the wind. Two places farther away stood there last night without problems. We moved here because of the strong wind. Rubbish bins available. What more do you need?
