P+R parking, sloping surface

I stayed here for two nights (28–30 December) and had two peaceful nights, feeling safe. The road slopes and was leveled with the curb. The first night two other campers were here; the second night I was completely alone. Very close to the Monument to the Battle of the Nations (recommended) and public transport. Highly recommended; I would happily return.

Free and really very large, wide road. The parking area is closed when running events take place here: the Leipzig Marathon in mid-April and the Decathlon Run Leipzig in early or mid-October. Advantages: green surroundings, little noise, yet a feeling of safety. Tram 15 goes directly to the city or sports arena. Disadvantages: somewhat sloping (solution: see the other comments; I am not allowed to write it, but you are).

Good location and a peaceful night. The parking area is slightly sloping, but wheel chocks can level the vehicle. The monument is impressive!

The parking down this street opposite the monument is going to be closed from 3/9/25. Don’t know how long for. You can still park in the carparks nearer to the monument. Can be noisy, but handy for the S Bahn into the city.

Very well located for visiting the city, with the tram and S-Bahn nearby. Lots of space, quiet and free. Perfect.

At first we were somewhat skeptical, but there were two other campers nearby, so we stayed. We parked sideways with the two right wheels on the curb to compensate for the slope (we copied the others), and it worked perfectly. Great for one or two nights; the S-Bahn is very close and takes you to Leipzig Market Square in four stops.

Slept here 2 nights. Very peaceful. wc in the park is very nasty and dirty, but there is near by at the monument more clean wc. it just cost 1€ to use. Recommend
