3433 Lugar Debajo la Iglesia, 09211, Frías
Been here?
Clean, paved parking beside the Tourist Office, public toilets and the entrance to Frías castle, with pleasant elevated views. The parking is suitable for daytime visits, but signs prohibit overnight stays; a lower parking area is recommended for sleeping. Facilities include toilets, sinks, waste disposal and filling, while a fountain is 200m opposite the church. Access can be complicated, although the rear spaces are level and large vehicles have used them.

Good for daytime parking, not for sleeping.
For sleeping, the one below is better; there is a large no-overnight-parking sign.
There is a no-overnight-parking sign. During the day there is no problem; for sleeping, the one below is better.
The village and its surroundings are spectacular. The area is clean and comfortable, and there is a walk to Tobera to see the waterfalls. If you want to swim, there is a pond below the area.
Watch out: there was a parking sign for residents only; visitors should use the other parking area below, so we went there. It is true that it is very steep, but the spaces right at the bottom are less so.
Parking for cars and buses; the spaces at the back are level. We slept very well for two nights. The area is quiet and lit, and there is a bakery and several places nearby to eat. The village is beautiful; a visit to the castle and the route to Tobera are recommended.
Quiet, level, accessible for large vehicles, well located, and with free services. It is below the castle of Frías. Excellent for visiting Spain’s “smallest” city and all its corners.
Fantastic area—if you can get in. Toilets, sinks, dumping and filling facilities, picnic areas, spacious pitches, and rubbish bins. There is no lighting or electricity. The access system is complicated. More than half the people who tried to enter over two days left after spending half an hour attempting it. Thanks to the town council for all the effort.
A quiet place to spend the night. I recommend it.
Quiet and safe place, large spaces also suitable for motorhomes, with public toilets next to the castle entrance.
Big place and more cars.
Very nice and quiet place. Top parking near the castle.
We slept here for one night because the area is still closed. It has views of the castle and is very quiet, safe, and lit. The village is beautiful. The only drawback is that the rubbish containers are quite far away, at the exit of the village.
We spent the night here. It is a very quiet area directly below the castle. The castle costs 2 euros and is worth visiting. A route starts here and leads to Tobera. A very nice place.
It is quiet and next to the sights. Sloped for sleeping, although there is plenty of space. No services.
