A daytime parking place with panoramic views from sunrise to sunset, suitable for campers of any size. It is about 5 minutes on foot from the centre and 10/12 minutes from the beach. Overnight campers have received a 120€ fine and been ordered to leave by police. The viewpoint is exposed, making overnight vehicles easy to spot.

Sadly we were also part of the people who received the 120€ fine. Amazing place (the night before no one came lol) but very exposed so overnight campers can be easily spot which is why police was called (they told us themselves). One street lower some other cars were less exposed and did not get fined I think. But now police and neighbours know about this spot so stay away, at least from the top:/Translating
Just to respond to the one-star comments: the parking is free and there is no prohibition, as also pointed out in the other comments! There is a national law in Portugal prohibiting sleeping in a camper outside campsites or motorhome areas. Everywhere, in any place, you cannot sleep in a camper! Anyone traveling by camper in Portugal should know this!Translating
AVOID!! Very beautiful place, but in the middle of the night the GNR police fined us €120 and asked us to leave immediately. Natural Park?Translating
